I'm happy with this new cycle we've started this year. A decade has gone by in my life since I decided I wanted to cook. I feel like the values that I aspired to in 2003 are coming into fruition in 2013. I'm cooking at Riffle and hosting dinner parties by teaching at Hipcooks. Not only am I still collecting fabrics and plotting batik and tie-dye parties, I can actually sew things out of them. This weekend I'm attending a full fledged Serger class, and I'll be able to make my own clothes. Quickly!
