I did the last of my Christmas shopping on Wednesday. I stopped on the way home from work at Kohl's, which shares a strip mall with Michael's (craft store) and PetSmart. I like TV shows better than I like movies. Movies are too long, and when they're over, they're over. TV shows are shorter, they're divided into digestible chunks (with bathrooom breaks in between), and you can keep returning to your favorite characters over and over and over. For the three-day weekend, I went to Boise with my mom and brother and his family. All in the same van. That's four adults and three kids aged 5-9.
