not the average girl
you know, i was thinking... i'm weird
but you know what else? i thank God for every bit of it
so i turned 21 this past weekend (and i thank each and every one of you who serenaded to me, left a message on facebook, sent me things in the mail or called me... you guys are awesome!).... so you're like, awww snap... 21!! what bar did you go to? what drinks did you have?
this brings me to where many would consider me weird
my bday consisted of spending the day with the family, going out to eat, opening some presents, and of COURSE.... saw Xmen 3 with Amy Marisa and my bro... it was absolutely amazing... and in all honesty, i had no ambition to go to a bar... it's not me... sure, i'm happy to say i can get into them now, and to say all i have to do is flash the ID, but it's not like my life is all about drinking... it's not a priority to me. and in all honesty, shake your heads, think i'm weird... but i can't be someone i'm not
so thinking about that made me also think about other ways in which i haven't followed the world's standards...
never really was obsessed with brad pitt or paul walker or any of those guys... it's alllllll about Hugh Jackman... a great guy, with a great personality.... and AMAZING in leather pants might i add
loved the Tigers since the first time I went to a game as a child (not just one of those... "oh NOW they're doing good so i like them..." fans
i listen to all types of music... classical, jazz, country, classic rock, alternative...
i absolutely LOVVVVVVE musicals... i wish i could sing
the tv shows i watch (besides everyone's favorites Lost and Greys) are on the disney channel... did i mention i got High school musical for my bday... LOVE IT!!
i won't kiss on the first date
not a big fan of adam sandler movies
i believe in abstinence
i actually ENJOY going to church... at least the one in Kzoo... it's amazing to see everyone excited to be there... it's uplifting and it's changed my life in so many ways
i'm not a big fan of spaghetti or lasagna
i'm a morning person
i'm not going to date someone just to date... i want to wait for THE one
summer isn't my fav season... the fall is
there's so many more i can't even think of that some of you may also feel applies to you... and that's what's great... God made us all different. you realize how boring it would be if we all liked the same things... it'd be terrible... so i would like to thank Him for making me "weird" as some of you may like to call it....
i like being different... i always have, and i always will be... i just hope you all accept me for me just as i accept you for your interests as well
