Ooooh, I like the turn this took. I thought it might be a bit more fluffy but you went darker with it and I really dig that! Conditioning...interesting that you used that since the story I'm going to post for this prompt has an off hand reference to that :-)

I like this idea of a mindgame going on back and forth...but Gabriel ultimately having a final goal in mind that Mohinder doesn't quite see...and yet, once he does, Mohinder does not give up. He still tries to make that defiant stand.

Nice contrast of sweetness to manipulation!
