052. leslie fucking knope
There are many, many things to say about this episode, but I'll try to keep it concise;
++ The Ron/Leslie friendship cannot be rivaled in my mind. It's the ultimate display of understanding another person, and knowing what he or she needs without possibly even that person knowing. Also the part where Ron calls her "Leslie fucking Knope"??! We always refer to Ron as Ron fucking Swanson, and to have him impart that title onto Leslie is like... the highest Swanson honor. They just balance each other so well and are perfectly different and I just cannot.
++ I'm overwhelmed by how well Ben knows Leslie. I don't even.. feel sad that they broke up, because their relationship still exists. Their story is still being written.
Leslie, girl, your life is good. You have the most amazing people in your life -- which is more than a lot of people can say for themselves -- and you are pursuing the career of your dreams. It's one of my firmest beliefs in life that if you surround yourself in good company and do what makes you happy, the rest will fall into place. Get it, gurlll.
