I totally just posted a batch of fic recs, but this one was simply superb and needs to be recced pronto.
ghosts (How to Mourn an Exploding Man) {5281w, R} by
hateable. Mohinder/Nathan, with implied Mohinder/Peter and Nathan/Peter. In my mind, Mohinder/Nathan cannot exist unless Peter is wedged in there somehow. This fic addresses all the complicated relationships among these three characters in an intelligent, emotional, and insightful way, through simple and excellent prose. An instant favorite. Spoilers through 2.01, "Four Months Later." | Nathan took care of Peter, and sometimes it was beautiful and other times it was possessive and terrifying, and today when Nathan picks up and says, “I’m at Peter’s apartment,” Mohinder thinks, of course.
This also reminds me that I wrote Mohinder/Nathan once for a remix over at
remixthedrabble. I completely forgot to post it at this journal, as I like to keep all my fic in one place. So! Have an old fic from me:
Title: I'm Not Him (The Run-On Sentence Remix)
Characters: Mohinder/Nathan
Word Count: 100w
Rating: PG
Spoilers: none, really
Summary: Nathan takes, Mohinder gives.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything but the words.
A/N: remixed from
transcendenza's fic,
here. This fic originally posted
here.
Nathan pins him to the wall, pressing a hand into green-chipped paint and his lips into Mohinder’s, stealing, devouring, fingers gripping thick hair, noses crushing together, Nathan inhaling Mohinder’s breath, his own gone from his lungs; “I’m not him,” Mohinder gasps between kisses Nathan rips from him, taking as Mohinder gives, demanding as Mohinder submits, and Nathan knows, they both know, a ghost is forever bound between them; and as Nathan bends into Mohinder’s shuddering form, he whispers broken apologies, wordless penances lost in translation between teeth and skin, bitter tears gathering in his throat like useless prayers for forgiveness.
