Big Bang Challenge 2013: Artist Sign Up
Now it's time for our artists to sign up for our second annual takethatslash Big Bang.
Here are the housekeeping type things…
Challenge rules for Artists and Vidders
1. You agree to create at least one piece of art to be claimed by one or more takethatslash writer.
2. Your art may take one of the following forms:
Have fun with your project!
3. Collaborations between artists are also allowed. Just let us know when you sign up if you are planning on working with a partner.
4. Remember you're creating art to inspire a writer.
5. On your assigned posting date, you will make a master art post at takethatslash, and provide links to the master post and art to your writer so they can link to it in the story. Please do not post your artwork anywhere prior to your assigned posting date.
6. If you feel you have the energy and willpower to create artwork for someone else’s story, as well as writing your own, then please feel free to sign up as both an artist and as a writer.
Important Dates
Please sign up to participate before July 15.
On August 31, a rough draft of your art is due. The mods will anonymously post the art rough drafts for claiming by writers on September 5. Art will be claimed on a first come, first served basis, though once all art has been claimed, art can be claimed by more than one writer. Once your art has been claimed, we’ll give the writer(s) your contact information and the rough draft of your art from which to work.
The due date for your artwork/vid is October 31. Your work should not be posted on a public forum at this time, but you must provide us with either a working link to the art, or the art file itself so we can confirm it is complete for posting.
You will be assigned a posting date in November.
