Massu is not one for fanservice. I've never seen him flirt with the other members. More of the other way around. :D Pero I'm sure he enjoys it. Lalo na if it's Tego, rofl.

Anyway, no. My mum isn't a JE fan. Like, at all (In fact, she actually has this "singkit" bias--she thinks Asian guys are no match for her lolo!looking American guys). She just hears us mention the names OVER AND OVER again--and after the "Yamapi" incident, she'd just randomly butt in our JE fangirling sessions, lol. As of today, my dad has officially been infected with the JE virus--he just, randomly walked into our room and asked for a photo of Shakey's!Pi and real!Pi and said he wanted to "see if they looked alike". Then later, back at his room, when my sister went in, he told her Yamapi looked like Bb Gandang Hari. D: I shouldn't have shown him curlyhair!Pi. *fail*

Ahaha. I remember having this discussion before about Massu's orientation. Like, he has this 'macho' image--but what if he's just using it to hide his 'real' orientation (read: gay)? XD I mean, he's pretty sporty, wears baggy pants, trains his body and stuff but he also: a)paints his nails; b)is scared of bugs; c)is a neat freak (which is sort of a girly trait). Another person says he goes for facials (but I think all idols do, rofl). :P Anyway, my sister and I had the same sentiment awhile ago--we really want to know how they're like in RL (yes, even if it's negative)--even if we have to work as staff at the jimusho, lol.

Well, I have the impression that Tegoshi IRL is a racist jerk (relevant to one of your posts?). At least based on that account on je_secrets where he practically ignored the rest of the fans in favor of a hot blonde on a NEWS concert, I do have that impression of him. I pity the girl though (the one who got ditched)--going all the way to see her idol, I think other people don't have the right to say she's insecure (I'd feel ( ... )

Well Massu--I think he's more of a normal guy than his NEWS "image" portrays him. I don't think all he cares about are eating and shopping and wearing technicolor outfits. But my theory is, that all of these "personalities" are scripted.So true. I think Massu respects his co-members as colleagues and all. While I do enjoy the member ai, I don't think NEWS crossed the barrier yet when it comes to personal relationships like SMAP, TOKIO or Arashi ( ... )

Uh-huh, well said. I do notice for the very few times that he talks to his fellow members that... he's a tad bit formal with them. I don't know what exactly makes me think of it that way, I just get that feeling. Like for DVD footage and stuff, he usually just stands in the corner and lets all the other members do their thing. He usually just answers when asked, but other than that, he's the silent one. As if he does it because it's necessary for work ( ... )

IF there is one thing I like Massu, it's that he's bad in in faking fanservice. XD Ewan ko, mas natural yung dating. Especially in an idol factory like JE, it's a breath of fresh air. Pero seriously, I'm really curious on how these boys are in real life.

For instance, Tegoshi IS really manly in reality. Probably even more so than Massu is. Tsaka if I'm not mistaken, he isn't very friendly daw. Like, medyo intimidating and cold type of guy. While Massu is quite the talkative type naman daw - which we don't see much diba? XD

Ewan, pero those were based to the people who've worked with them. So I kind of trust those. Basically, if you've summed up the impressions of the people they've collaborated with, yan yung impression dba?
