The Warrior Elite
Chapter 12
~

Yunho halted to a stop, his breathing ragged. His eyes widened at the sight. The once proud mansion was now burning down in flames.

"Changmin-ah, you and Yoochun go find Donghae, I-I'll go find Jaejoong." With that, Yunho was off to find the frail fifteen year old. He sprinted past the gaping servants and random passerbyers, his legs carrying him to god knows where. As he approached the practically sealed building, he grabbed a large falled tree trunk from the pile of chopped wood, and headed hurriedly back to the entrance.

Raising the log high above his head, he brought it smashing down against the bunt door. A loud bang emanated from the crash of the door, and Yunho wasted no time and rushed inside. Jaejoong-ah, hold on!

The smoke was thick and felt heavy in his lungs. Yunho brought his elbow up, coughing into his elbow as he fought to see in the grey smoke, his eyes heavily watering. He ducked down, trying to see where he was going. Immediately, he recognized his surroundings as the entrance of the main hallway, right across from the place he picked Jaejoong up days ago, saving him from Mr. Bae.

He continued down the cloged hallway, his hands blindly reaching for a bedroom door. His heart was beating painfully against his chest, a terrible dread spreading through him.

He was about to break down when the surface underneath his hand changed. He slowly stood up, looking and feeling around for a knob. As soon as it was found, he snapped it open.

His heart sank.

It was empty.

He urgently turned around, tears stinging his eyes, his hope dwindling. then...

"-lp! Help!" A small begging sound alerted him, as he quickly followed it. The voice led him to a small prison looking room. A young maid was kneeling down looking at the door when Yunho broke in. She jumped up, looking pleadingly at Yunho.

"Th-thank god you're here." She mumbled brokenly, "I-I tried to get s-someone's help. I-I'm sorry, but I-I r-really can't stay anymore." Yunho stayed in his spot, speechless. The maid ran out, unable to stay longer.

Yunho stumbled forward, falling on his knees next to Jaejoong.

Meanwhile, Changmin and Yoochun had found Donghae trying to break through a window, and successfully shattered it with his shoes.

"Donghae!" The said man turned around, surprised to find his friend and Park Yoochun running towards him.

"What are you guys doing here?! It's fucking burning down!" Donghae semi-yelled, pushing the other two through the broken window of the first floor. Once outside, Changmin tripped, falling on Yoochun who was knocked down from the impact. He blushed a bit, looking away quickly as he struggled to get up. Yoochun chuckled in embarrassment, accepting Changmin's outstretched hand as he stood up.

They turned around, finding Donghae looking at them in amazement.

"Here we are, on the verge of dying, and all you two can think of is how to flirt without talking?"

"That is NOT true!" Changmin scrambled to explain.

"Yeah! What the hell! We came here to save you!" Yoochun grumbled, and Donghae rolled his eyes.

Yoochun looked back at the flames that were slowly spreading throughout the mansion. His worry doubled when he realized that he could not spot Yunho or Jaejoong yet.

Shit Yunho, where the hell are you?

~

Yunho snaked his arm underneath the boy’s knees, wrapping his other arm around his shoulders. He stood up, his heart beating restlessly. His eyes trailed down the pale almost naked body. He could see bruises and nasty wounds coloring the once perfect skin. His hair was sticking to his face with the sweat trailing down his sickly face.

And from then he found his way through the now overtaken by smoke mansion. Yunho felt his breathing labor, but once he saw the gaping door he pushed himself, crashing down on the grass once outside the horrid building.

Yunho looked at the figure lying beside him, and worry seized him once again. He dragged himself nearer, hovering the unconscious body with his knees on either sides of the boy.

He cupped the sweaty cheeks, pressing his forehead against the other.

Jaejoong opened his eyes and was immediately blinded by a bright light. He groaned, covering his eyes with his arm. Have I died? he wondered to himself. He attempted to move but a jolt of pain went up his spine. He hissed, scrunching his eyes as he realized that no, he wasn’t dead.

“You’re awake.” The soft deep voice of Yunho startled him. He looked to the side, to be met with Yunho’s dark sleepy form sprawled on the comfy futon of… the Jung house!

“I-I… where am I?” On the verge of tears, Jaejoong’s words were whispered, his voice quivering.

“At my house of course.” Yunho replied, his eyebrows furrowing as he observed Jaejoong.

Jaejoong kept his eyes on Jaejoong, his eyes watering, his lips molding into a frown. A chocked sob escaped his throat as he covered his face with his hands, his body curling on its side as he wept. Yunho crawled close, tilting the boy’s head up to face him. His hand gently wiped the tears away, his lips landing a soft kiss on the raven’s forehead.

“Are you sad? Jaejoong-ah don’t cry…” Yunho whispered, his chest hurting with the thought of the boy in pain again.

“I-I’m not upset, I’m glad Yunho-ssi. I-I c-can’t believe it’s finally o-over.” His voice shook, his body breaking into violent tremors. His hands started to rub his curled body when he remembered what had happened to him. The beating and then… his world had gone blank.

Yunho pulled away, concerned about the boy’s reaction. He watched confused as Jaejoong hugged himself, looking blankly ahead of him. Jaejoong did not respond as he started to rise, trying to support himself with his shaking legs. Yunho stood up attempting to help the boy when Jaejoong fell down, wincing.

Jaejoong looked at his shaking hands in horror. He felt his body freeze, his lips pursing as he fell into another fit of tear. I was violated. I-I was violated. I WAS RAPED. The pain that he endured when he tried to stand up was proof. His ass felt raw, and he couldn’t stand on his feet. Jaejoong could feel a trickle down his thighs. Blood. He thought grimly.

Yunho’s hand reached for his form, but Jaejoong slapped it away, his eyes wide. He scooted away, to the corner of the room.

“Jaejoong. What’s wrong?” Yunho asked, rather upset with the boy’s reaction to his efforts in helping him.

“Don’t touch me!” Jaejoong snarled, pulling his lips back.

“Stop it Jaejoong-ah, you’re scaring me!” Yunho could feel his patience running out. He prayed to god that history would not repeat itself. The last thing he wanted to do was to once again lash out at the boy when he’s terrified. It was like déjà vu. He still remembered the horrible way he treated the boy, and the remorse he felt later on after the incident.

“Stop coming near me! Just, GO AWAY!” Jaejoong frowned, his mind still unable to process that he was free from Kangsoo. It was as if he could not escape the horrid man.

“Jaejoong, please, stop. Kangsoo is de-” He wasn’t able to finish his sentence.

“Stop it! I told you to go away!”

“Let me-“ He was cut short again.

“WHY CAN’T YOU JUST GO AWAY?!” At that, he snapped.

Yoochun sat in front of the old man, his hands rubbing nervously against each other. He had went through his parent’s belongings, looking for someone who had been close to his family. From his father’s old letters he had found out that there Mr. Choi had been a close family friend.

He found Mr. Choi’s address from the letters and wasted no time finding the man. As the man sat came back from his kitchen, he stood up eager to start the conversation.

“I know why you’re here.” The old man spoke, looking at the tea cups set on the floor next two their sitting bodies.

“You do?” Yoochun was confused.

“Your parents have talked about your brother for a while before they died.” Yoochun’s breathing hitched.

“W-will you- will you tell me who my b-brother is?”

A/N: Hey :) so its been a while right? I hope people still remember this fic :(

So kangsoo is out of the picture! Is everyone satisfied? Ofcourse, with that said, I think we all know that most people suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder after they experience something that is similar to what happened to Jae so we will be seeing him struggle.
Lol p.s. I incorporated a tiny bit of minchun xD

PLEASE COMMENT!!! <3 thank you!!!!
