"Ngh... Few more minutes," Hyde muttered and Gackt started awake, blinking blearily as he lay beside his sleeping lover. Another half-asleep muttering fell from Hyde's lips then and a tiny smile graced his face; Hyde would sleep for hours more, unbothered.
This time, the smile was a sad one and Gackt slowly, ever-so-slowly pulled away, standing up and crossing to the bathroom and the locked room hidden beyond, not bothering to pull on any clothes and simply locking the door behind him. If Hyde had any idea what he was doing...
Or perhaps, more accurately...
What she was doing.
She - he? - looked in the mirror along the wall once the door was locked and for a moment, she just frowned at what she saw. Flat body, small hips, short, dark hair - his body was muscular and all but oozed masculinity. His body was what Hyde craved - what so many others adored as the famous singer's. Gackt's.
Hers, however, was not.
It took all the usual steps - first, corseting her waist, then choosing a bra and stuffing it to achieve the look she wanted, then a pair of lacy, striped panties were pulled over long, lanky legs. She smiled.
Choosing clothing was harder. In this hidden room there were years of discreet spending and quiet shopping trips; for years she had tried to keep herself tucked away and out of the limelight by letting her closest friends help her. And in the end she chose an outfit that they had bought for her - a slim, figure-hugging pink shirt with a flower print at the side, and a skirt that fell gracefully mid-thigh paired with knee-high boots. Only a few steps left, and she would be ready to slip away, leave a note for Hyde that Gackt was busy, and the day could be hers.
The blonde wig slipped on easily, black hair underneath brushed back and safely secured beneath a wig cap in order to allow long, sweeping waves of gold to frame a sun-kissed face and fall down her broad shoulders. Makeup was just as easy - faint shadows in her foundation softened her masculine face, and eyeliner accented sharp hazel eyes. Shortly afterwards, she pulled a cream scarf on, tying it in the front so that one corner draped elegantly down, and she was ready, surveying herself proudly in the mirror.
Lucy. Not Gackt.
This was who she - and he - truly was, regardless of what she could lose.
