Quick update:
- My computer died and I had to take it to the Apple store and leave it for quite a few days...which sucked.
- Luckily, they fixed it up all nice-like, and thank goodness, I'd bought Apple Care when I got my computer, so what would have been a $1600 bill was free.
- Yesterday was my birthday. I'm now 24. Whoopdeedoo.
- I feel generally unsatisfied and lethargic these days.
- Maybe I need more iron.
- My mom didn't call me on my birthday. In her defense, she's in Italy. But in my defense, she's there with the overseas Harding program, and they provide phone cards and phones that make it 1-2-3 easy to call people here in the Motherland. I should know...being overseas never kept me from calling her on important occasions.
- My sister came to visit and was here from Tuesday until this afternoon. It was good, but sometimes stressful. I felt a lot of pressure to please her and impress her. She talked a lot about her new dog. A lot. She also told me that my apartment, "wasn't too terribly bad...you know...for one person, if you had it set up in a livable way and such." Poops on people who make me feel like my apartment/life/etc aren't good enough.
- I need the beach.
- I need sunshine and warm breezes and water lapping at my toes in the sand.
- I need a hug.
