On January 6th (Friday), Cosmos Troupe Top Musumeyaku Nono Sumika held a press conference to announce her retirement in the performance "Brilliant Days / Climax" (Takarazuka Grand Theater: Apr. 13th, 2012 ~ May 14th, Tokyo Takarazuka Theater: Jun. 1st ~ Jul. 1st).
Kobayashi Koichi (Takarazuka Revue Board Chairman)
"She has a wonderful sense for the stage, and has drawn attention since she was an underclassman. Since becoming top musumeyaku of Cosmos Troupe that genius has blossomed and she has greatly contributed to the current Takarazuka. Until the day she graduates on July 1st, I hope that you can all grant her your support so that she can continue to shine as Nono Sumika."
Nono Sumika
"I will be graduating from the Takarazuka Revue on July 1st. I will work hard until the last day to grow as a Takarazuka musumeyaku. Thank you."
Why did you decide to retire?
"Since I became lead musumeyaku I have vaguely been thinking about it, and from the very beginning I felt that I wanted to graduate with Ozora-san, so when Ozora-san said that she would be graduating it was also decided for me."
What did Ozora say?
"Your path is your own to choose, so I won't give approval or opposition, but let's work hard to reach our mutual goal until the end."
Is there a work or role which left an impression on you?
"They are all memorable works, but if I have to offer up one, 'Gin-chan no Koi' (which was the first show that I did together with Ozora-san in Flower Troupe) would have been my turning point. It is truly a good memory."
Tell us about your retirement performance.
"For me personally it is a retirement performance, but it is also the (98th class) hatsubutai performance and Harada-sensei's Grand Theater debut work. I think it will be a performance wrapped up in all kinds of memories for many people, so I want to work hard and hold each day and each meeting precious."
Do you have a message for your fans?
"I am unskilled and have run into many walls up to this point, yet I have come this far now because of the fans who have always watched over me warmly, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart. I'll work hard as musumeyaku Nono Sumika, so if you watch over me warmly until the very last day I will be most fortunate."

1月6日（金）、宙組トップ娘役・野々すみ花が、ミュージカル『華やかなりし日々』、グランド・ショー『クライマックス』-Cry‐Max-（宝塚大劇場：2012年4月13日～5月14日、東京宝塚劇場：2012年6月1日～7月1日）をもって退団する事を発表し、記者会見を行いました。
小林公一（宝塚歌劇団理事長）
「彼女は素晴らしい舞台センスを持っており、下級生の頃から注目されておりましたが、宙組のトップ娘役になり、その才能を大いに開花し今の宝塚に非常に貢献してくれました。その彼女が7月1日に卒業するその日まで、野々すみ花として、ますます輝いていきますように皆様方のご支援賜りますよう、宜しくお願い致します」
野々すみ花
「7月1日をもちまして宝塚歌劇団を卒業させて頂くことになりました。最後の日まで、宝塚の娘役として成長できるように頑張りますので、どうぞ宜しくお願い致します」
退団を決めた理由は？
「主演娘役に就任させていただいた時から漠然と考えてはいましたが、大空さんとご一緒に卒業したいという気持ちが最初からありましたので、大空さんが卒業されると伺った時に、私もと思い決めさせていただきました」
大空からは？
「“自分の道は自分で決めるものだから、賛成も反対もしないけれども、最後まで二人のゴールを目指して頑張ろう”と言って頂きました」
思い出に残っている作品や役は？
「全てが思い出の作品となっていますが、一つ挙げるとすると、花組で初めて大空さんとご一緒させていただいた『銀ちゃんの恋』が、自分のターニングポイントにもなりましたし、本当にいい思い出です」
退団公演について
「私個人としては退団公演となりますが、（第98期）初舞台生公演でもありますし、原田先生の大劇場デビューの作品でもあります。たくさんの方の、色々な思いが詰まった公演になると思いますので、一日一日を大切に、皆さまとの出会いを大切に頑張っていきたいと思います」

「不器用で、今までたくさんの壁にぶつかりながらも今日まで来られたのは、いつも温かく私を見守り、支えて下さったファンの方のお陰だと心から感謝しています。娘役の野々すみ花として頑張りますので、最後の日までどうか温かく見守って頂けたら幸いです」
