Small Introduction + Australian Fans?
Hi, everyone! I believe I've commented a couple of times on various posts, but I'm not extremely active (I do read everything!) and I haven't properly introduced myself yet. So, it's nice to meet you all! I really love this community. I've been a fan of Takarazuka for many years now, but I'd say I'm more of a "casual" fan in that I don't know a whole lot about specific actors or troupes, etc. but enjoy watching it very much. I'm a bit of a Sena Jun fan but that's probably because she was my favorite when I actually was able to go see live shows while I was studying abroad in Japan (LOVED her in Elisabeth). That said, Elisabeth is probably my favorite production, but I haven't seen very many.
I do have a question: Are there any Australian fans here? I'm originally American, but I just moved to Brisbane last year, and would love to meet some Australian fans. Does anyone here ever do meetups? I think it'd be so neat to meet up with other fans and watch or listen together *_* Since ordering DVDs can be so expensive, do you any of you ever meet up with other fans to view them together?
Also, I do a bit of translation work, and I recently did a commission for an LJ user who asked me to translate the script for Susano-o. It was a lot of fun! If anyone would ever like to commission a translation from me, please feel free to shoot me a comment or PM! (Right now I'm working on doing all the songs from Romeo and Juliet!)
