Production Question
I'm a relatively new inductee into the fandom and after searching through the archives, I still had two random questions:
1. How much does a typical production cost to put on stage? They're so elaborate with so many costumes, backgrounds, and accessories that I find myself curious.
2. What do they use to make their outfits so awesomely shiny? Rhinestones usually don't get that kind of sparkle, so I'm wondering if its Swarovski Crystal or something else? Then again, some of the crowns and jewelry almost look like diamonds and actual gemstones...
I read Stickland's book and didn't see anything in there about those two aspects of production, so I hope it's okay that I asked!
