I went to Dir en Grey's 25th Anniversary Tour last night and swore to go to more of their cons

Preferably not in Zepp Haneda

I had shit view cause Zepp Haneda's arena/standing is all flat unlike Ex Theater Roppongi where even the standing area has different elevations.

But damnnnnnnn the setlist is made. of. gold.

I fuckin died that I got to see Schwein no Isu. Likeee talk about old school fave. Also they practically played all of my fave including 304, Hageshisa, and even Ain't Afraid.

I keep saying this, but now that I've seen Kaoru's Ain't Afraid solo guitar, I can die happy.

Next time, I'll get a better view and I'll stand on his damn side of the stage btw.

This was my position after it ended but ofc I raised my phone for this so it wasn't really my view. (pretended to be a dumn gaijin to do so)

My verdict:
- They're ELECTRIC live I got shivers the whole way through
- Kyo's voice is amazing but I thinkkk he was clearer sounding during Sukekiyo. And he danced for Sukekiyo lol
- Toshiya is legitimately the most beautiful creature ever existed, and I say this while admitting he's not even my fave. Literally, your (and my fave) could never. No seriously, name your fave and I bet my ass Toshiya is still hotter. His face makes no logical sense it was so perfect.
- He poured water on himself yesterday
- It needed an NSFW warning
- Kaoru is also very beautiful irl but again, I was too far away to observe him closely. He came to my side of the stage twice and I died
- DIE'S PICK THAT HE THREW AT THE END LANDED RIGHT BEHIND ME AND THE GIRL RIGHT BEHIND ME PICKED IT UP IT WAS SO CLOSE I WAS SO JEALOUS
- Shinyaaa so cute, so far away, so invisible from where I stood
- the moral of the story is if you're short, join a knot.

I had so so much fun after a frustrating day at the immigration though. My feet both died by the end of the night but it was worth it.

The merchs I got

j-rock, concert report, dir en grey
