So, just got back from the Pittsburgh Comicon. We only show up for their Sunday costume contest since it's basically local (same place as Tekko). I cosplayed (or costumed?) Psylocke from X-Men... I had no idea a comic convention could have worse fanboys than an anime convention. I mean, FAR worse. And they were everywhere. Well, maybe it's cause the costumer to non-costumer ratio is really shitty, but still..HOLY BAD!! Here are just a few of the situations I found myself in while wandering the con by myself:
fanboy: Hi, what's your name?
me: I'm Psylocke
fanboy: Psylocke? That's nice, and so are you *walks away*
me: >_>
In the costume contest when the MC called my name to come on stage, he started with "you guys are gonna like this one, but I get the good view." (It's a thong back -_-)
A Blade costumer (who beat me in the costume contest) walked by me while I was posing for a photo and actually slid his arm around my waist, practically FEELING me up! WTF!!!!
Then afterwards we stopped by a lake on the way home to take a few extra photos, and among all the cars that slowed down and drivers sticking their heads out their windows, three guys, maybe in their 20s, actually parked and came down to where we were to see what we were doing. One of them walked over to me, asked if he could take a picture with me, and said "Please tell me you're a porn star."

Overall it was fun though. I won second in the costume contest (and $25 :D) To be honest the fanboy antics really amuse me. I swear they all come up with something different XD I reeeeelly curious to see how the reactions are different at ACen :P
