The obligatory Tekko post
Guess I should make a post about Tekko. I can't say too much about the actual con since I was working in DCM's photo booth almost the whole time, but the couple times I got away I liked what I saw.
They definitely had a lot more space for things this year, which made the hallways look empty but we still got hammered with people wanting photos and prints and photoshoots. I actually took two photoshoots! It was a little awkward since I haven't even taken any photos since Otakon, but they still went well. I tried to think a little more outside the box for some of my angles and such. One was the three Soras group that won best in show in the masquerade (again :P). I was really discouraged when it started raining and we had to come inside because the lighting was horrible and I just couldn't get what I wanted, but I don't think it turned out as bad as I think. I just wanted to take photos to do them justice since they were three of the better cosplayers there.
The masquerade was better than last year (thank god). I much prefer the setup they had for main events this year over the previous years. I also prefer Greggo to host the event but Dave didn't do too bad. I didn't get to go to any of Greggo's gameshows ;_____________________________________________; We were so swamped at the booth I barely had time to get away for anything. *cries* I'm sorry Greggo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, now it's time for processing media. Since there was no FanCam, and I'm editing our new "Do Stuff, It's Video" box, and I'm editing the booth photos, Mike's got like nothing to do!! I think the only thing I don't have to do is everyone else's photoshoots (though I still have to go through them all) and the actual site update. And I have a new costume to make for Comicon in two weeks!! GAH!!!!!!!! X_X
