Ahhh... the news has been going on for a while but it's as sweet as apple pie. And apple pie is pretty damn sweet. Though other fundamentalist Xtian organizations may take it's place, still, the death knoll of the CC is like music to my ears. And it was especially pleasing to hear that it had been suffering for some time due to their blindness throwing money around and falling into debt.
"People have been writing our obituary for years," she said. "But you go out in the hinterlands and talk to the grass roots, and it's a whole different story. People call us every day and want to be involved." - Roberta Combs, President of the Christian Coalition.
No. Nothing will save you now. If most people have any sense then they won't support an organization that tries to force religious principles into politics.
