I think I'm doing better.
I sent a threatening letter by email to hofstra about them not sending transcripts, and within 4 hours they had called me to say that they HAd both faxed and mailed a copy to my school on the 17th. This means someone is lying, and its costing me money. So now I crack down, and go pull out my email list through rich, to see just who i need to mail to magically "find" my missing transcripts.
As for the breakup, things are better/different. He called me a lot over the following days of it, it sort of talked me back down. Everyone who knows me knows that if a single day had passed, I would move on, like I do in all things in life, you pick yourself up and keep going, even if you're bleeding, you always move forward. I suppose one could call us a couple again, I care about him very much, but everything is different now, I'm very hard shelled when it comes to things we've argued about before, kind of like my own personal defense mechanism. We'll see where it goes, I'm too up to my neck in school to worry about it, and I'm in no hurry. :)
As for school, I've been lazy. I'm starting to pull myself out of it, but breaking procrastination habits is DEFINITELY not easy. In fact I sometimes get panic attacks when I do it, but I'll get there one way or another.
I bought three new books this weekend. On is 23 tips for college, its ok if you're clueless. I saw this in a newspaper and its good, its little hints and tips that people NEED to hear when in or going to college. The second was artemis fowl: Opal deception. This is the fourth book in the series, and I quite liked the others. All about crime and fantasy. The final book is one I've been waiting for. Flight of the Nighthawks, by raymond E Feist. Its the first book in the new darkwar series, following the conclave of shadows, which I quite liked. The full series has been going on for like 20 years, but I have plenty of time to catch up on all of those later.
Time to go get more research done, I have a long rant to post later about politics, my favorite subject.
