[After a long-winded process of reaching the Welcome Center by the end of his first day, getting settled in one of their rooms, and finally getting his clothes, Beast has been staying in his very-unfamiliarly-tiny room just... brooding and trying to make sense of his fate.  He's still perfectly convinced that he ended up here because the

[Robin is lurking in the shadows of a building in a cowboy hat and long open trench coat that catches in the wind. She is watching, just watching.]

[She spots the huge hulking shadow of a strange creature, darker than the other shadows and stands a little straighter.]

[What is it? Why is it here? She wants to know it all.]

[Action]

[Intent on exploring the village, Beast isn't going to notice Robin just yet. He'll instead be inching along buildings, turning around to look through the windows, and trying to decipher exactly what's in them - or what their purpose is - for each one.

Of course, not every crevice is lacking in light, so the bulk of fur and cloak will indeed be exposed a few times.]

[The more she sees of him, the more interesting he looks.]

[AH! How'd she - was she there the whole time? Slip and a flinch from Beast before he catches his balance again.

Try to act normal. This is very much normal for somebody to do. Yeah.]

I... no. [That's truthful, right?] Just... [Can he be honest?] J-just l-looking around.

Your night vision must be excellent.

[Since it is night and quite dark]

Unfortunately there's not much of interest around her. [Except for the library, but interest in that, strangely enough, seems to be almost nonexistent in most of the people she's encountered.]

[Regardless of his literary skills, Beast might actually be quite interested in the library, as it would remind him of somebody he knows.]

Uh... I-I guess?

[Now he feels really embarrassed about being out here.] Th-there isn't?

Although I suppose that depends on what it is you like doing.

[He's certainly interesting looking from what she can see. As if a strange animal had eaten the human human fruit.]

[She continues to peer intently at him, wondering what he will do]

[Hrm... Beast isn't entirely sure what he does like to do, really. Most of his time back home was to sit in the West Wing and mope.]

I... I don't know... wh-what are these buildings, then?

[He can tell in the dark that she's trying to get a look at him, which causes him to instinctively shift back into the shadows.]

[Action]

[That such a big creature could seem so uncomfortable is incongruous to her. What could he possibly be nervous about?]

Why don't you look in and find out?

[She's curious herself]

[He looks at her briefly, then makes sure he's still enveloped in the shadows before peering through the window behind him.

What he will be seeing is likely the interior of the SOS Brigade building, but as he obviously doesn't know that, he'll simply be listing off the visible pieces of furniture.]

There... th-there are a lot of tables... a-and... books...?

[Action]

[That shouldn't be the library, she doesn't think. What kind of books could be there?]

[A mystery...]

[She comes up to him and peers in the window for a moment before growing some hands on the other side of the frame to unlatch it before pushing the window up.]

Let's find out, ne?

[If under different circumstances, or if this building looked more like someone's actual home, Beast probably would question this act... but instead is quite impressed with Robin's tactic.

With this he will slip her a smile that indicates this, even if she can't see it, before slipping into the building.]

[It doesn't seem like a library. Possibly a kind of school, judging by the shadowed blackboard in one corner. It's bigger than she'd thought but it doesn't seem as if anyone in particular lives here.]

[Robin trails her fingers along the spines of the books almost lovingly as she walks idly along beside the shelf, it's a bit too difficult to see titles in the dark so she lets her fingers feel the shape of them.]

What do you think?

[She turns toward the hulking shape of the beast-man creature in the darkness. Shy as always.]

Is this interesting enough?

[Indeed Beast is feeling rather shy about all of this. He just broke into a building with a random girl - that doesn't happen very often in his life.

Truthfully, Beast doesn't find much interesting about this building except the coffee maker - he's never seen anything like it before, after all.

But how to say all this to this girl without looking silly or rude?]

I... I-I suppose.

[And because he doesn't know how to expand that, he'll now pick up the coffee maker to examine it. Good thing it's not plugged in.]

[Robin watches him for a quiet moment. She isn't sure what he's playing with in his massive hands...paws?...either. of course since she's used to hand-delivered gourmet coffee these days...]

You don't seem to know yourself very well.

[Which is exceedingly strange to her. Most of the people in her life know exactly who they are and what they want.]

[He isn't quite sure how to respond to that. A part of him feels a bit offended, but he also doesn't really know what she means by that.]

Wh... wh-what do you mean?

[He will now be pressing the buttons on the coffee maker trying to figure out if they do anything.]
