I finally managed to lose the extra pounds I had put on since last year, so I'm happy that I can finally start considering any weight loss from here on as real progress ^o^
I think I've finally settled into a good routine and am actually pretty optimistic about exercising for once. I think it really helps that I kind of have some good moral support this time around. A cousin and I even exchange texts about our workouts almost daily. It's a good pat-on-the-back as well as a guilty reminder (at least for me if I skip a workout for any reason).
I'm getting a bit annoyed with my knee though. It was in quite some pain for the past week...I guess I was pushing myself a bit hard or not stretching properly. It felt much better today, so I tried running again only to have it start acting up again at only half a mile! WTF, knee?! Get it together!
Hmm, anyways, I need to make better use of the iPod's playlist feature because my music is all over the place. There's nothing like motown or some other slow music to distract me from a perfectly good run. ^^;
