i feel for you. i developed a nut allergy over the course of graduate school, and now can't eat pistacios, walnuts, pecans, almonds, sometimes cashews (that one is mild compared to the rest; walnuts can make me break out from across the room, i swear). eliminating food is really tough, and it sucks especially not to be able to be impulsive about what you eat. but as you regain your energy and health, it'll start to feel worth it.

i'm dealing with a crazy hormone issue lately and just started thinking this morning that an elimination diet might help me find my balance again. who is your Doctor?

His name is Dr Sunil Pai, I think you'd really like him his number is 821-6300 and his office is off Paseo del Norte and Wyoming. his business is called Sanjevani. Let me know how things work out for you. Hormones are just Nuts and we are both allergic to nuts so..... :)

awesome, thanks for the info! i'm on a new round of herbs at the moment (vitex & black cohosh, and an adrenal support formula -- just a suspicion that stress might have a wee bit to do with it), and deciding what to do if this treatment doesn't work, so i'm collecting lots of information right now. on the plus side, these herbs are not making me batshit crazy, like the evening primrose oil did. we'll see if they actually level me out, though. i hope so; i'd love to find a solution to this. i like hybrid medical practices, eastern/western, open-minded practitioners. :)

Let me know if the black cohosh works for you, I have a full bottle of it that you are welcome too.

Dr Pai sells many herbs and herb combo's often if you just walk into Sanjevani he's there and will happily suggest things that might help. Also Maureen is there. she is a talented healer as well.

I wish you all the luck and completely sympathise with you
