CHICO!
so as most of you know, i went to visit chico state university yesterday with my dad. oh my friggan gawd is it nice. the people are friendly, the rooms are great, the food is awesome, and downtown is cool. im seriously thinking about chico cuz it seems pretty reasonable to get admitted and i dont need a 3.7 gpa or a 1350 on the SAT's. with the 3.0 or 2.9 gpa i have and the 1140 SAT score i have, i can get in. there's a great bio course, which is what id be interested in doing and the campus is rated #1 on the west coast for campus beauty. theres a friggan river that runs through the middle of the school with trout in it! this is also one of the colleges where you see everyone skateboarding and biking to class. chico had the reputation of the party school, but the administration is trying to break that reputation and focus more on academics, which most people dont know. i think the tour guide said it best, though: "If you're looking for a party, you'll find a party. If you're looking for a good education, you'll find a good education." Now i just need to plan the other 2 trips im taking to go visit UC San Diego and San Diego State. 1 down, 2 to go.
