Book Reviews, and Echo Bazaar
I did some book reviews on my other blog, so if you're into that kind of thing it might be worth checking out.
Today I was bored so I decided to check out Echo Bazaar and see what was up. Imagine my surprise when I found that there was new content! I can actually progress with my Ambition, which I haven't been able to do in ages! And then I went crazy, so I couldn't actually do anything except try to get un-crazy for a few turns. Still, it's nice to know that when I get back to Fallen London I'll actually be able to do things, and have things to work toward again.
I haven't written any short stories lately except the one for the bi-monthly Shock Totem contest. I actually haven't written very much at all. I blame this on the fact that we've been traveling an awful lot this month -- as in we've only been home I think less than half of the month -- and the fact that Lucas is home for the summer so I'm very scattered and finding it hard to focus on anything. Hopefully soon my focus will return, but until then if you're getting an itch for some Megan-words you can check out the stuff I have linked from my website and also come join me in the Shock Totem events. Not only do they have a bi-monthly contest, they also have a bi-weekly flash contest, which is purely for fun and is a good chance to get a 1K story whipped out in an hour and is a good time in general.
