Joy
Had a pretty good weekend! Friday was my day off, during which I sat around and read for most of the day, then did a lot of cooking to get ready for the weekend. Saturday I worked, and except for that one kid that insulted me to my face, it wasn't a bad work day. Then I came home, and that's when the fun began.

ladyarkham and
irked_indeed - drove down from GCC graduation to visit. It was awesome to have them here. Mostly we just sat around and chatted about a wide variety of things, although Hunter just kept coming up for some reason. They're the sort of friends that, even though it's been months since we've seen them or even talked to them, we can still pick up just like nothing has happened, even though big things HAVE happened. It's a good feeling, and I definitely felt very joyous the whole time they were here.
They left this afternoon after some very business-like planning about a certain project, and then Lucas and I did some work and took a long walk. I spent about an hour and a half working on one tiny little part of said project that the whole group had already spent like forty-five minutes on, and finally got over the hurdle and could make some progress, so that was nice. Also I played some Portal, but alas only the flash game. I'm tempted to use a gift card to buy the real game - guys, please give me reasons why or why not.
So, all in all, it's been a wonderful weekend and it was super special awesome to have good old friends around again.
