Apocalytpica
I finally got to see Apocalyptica live last Friday night. Just - WOW. There are no words to describe the sound of it. The cellos just make everything so much richer. The acoustics in the room were pitch-perfect. It was a tiny venue, standing room only, and I was right by the stage (read: amp) . I still have ringing in my ears, but it was so worth it, lol.
I looked up some videos of some of my favorite songs of theirs. If you've never heard them, check it out. And buy the new 7th Symphony cd - it's worth every cent. Also - they closed the show with Hall of the Mountain King, which is phenomenal and quite possibly tops TSO's version, at least in my opinion. Youtube didn't want me to embed that one, so google it, it's worth it. If you don't get goosebumps from it, I'm pretty sure that means you have no soul.
