About the boys not being able to die, I've seen someone point out (and I kinda agree with them) that although the angels/Lucifer would indeed want to resurrect them if they died, they're also now hidden from all angels, so maybe it wouldn't be that easy. Also, I'm not sure Sam and Dean would want to owe anything to the angels/Lucifer. They can still legitimately be afraid of being killed, I think :)

As for Dean saying that he's better, I thought he meant better at poker, not better in general (but I can have misunderstood). Given what happened to Bobby and Dean, I think they have a point in not wanting Sam to play. They don't need three grumpy old men! (Though ultimately Sam plays and wins, and I'm all "YAY SAM!")

I don't know when I'll have the time to read part three *whines*

Well, sure, but do you think for a second that if Dean died Sam wouldn't summon someone to fix him? It's not like they can't make contact if they want to. But yes - without the impending fear of death there isn't as much drama. For Show.

Yes, poker. Didn't I say that? *clarifies*

Aww, well - I'm glad you liked it so far. :)

But Dean is better at poker, or at least he has every reason to be. We know that Dean supported them(him and Sam) at times with his poker earnings(Sam in fact mocked them in Season 1 on two different occasions--Bloody Mary and Bugs). Dean also did so in Folsom Prison Blues when he was beating all comers. Sam has never been a big poker player and I doubt he was doing much poker playing for big stakes in college(the 4 years he was on his own) or during the 4 months Dean was dead ( ... )

Actually, in reality, this comment is pretty nonsensical. LOL

You're assuming that it matters who the better poker player is. You missed the point. In this case, it was a poker game of playing the PLAYER... and nobody is better at THAT than Sam.

Uh, how did I not know there is a new "Boondock Saints" part coming out?

Also, thanks for the info on the crescent moon. My brain obviously didn't connect the dots when it saw the symbols on the chips. It's totally kept in the dark exactly where Patrick gets his powers from and who knows if the chips in particular mean anything (since the power is in him, not the chips ;)). But then, why did the props dept. choose these when we know Patrick's from Ireland? The actor has Turkish roots but I don't think that had much of an influence.

Overall, I absolutely love your picspam reviews, and your comments are so funny. Will check out the third part now. :)

Dude, NOBODY knew about Boondock Saints. There has been NIL press. I only knew because I asked Julie Benz in person at Dragon Con this year and she told us. FAIL, MOVIE INDUSTRY! It's only out in like 200 theaters nation wide - and NONE are in my region, let alone state.

*is so upset*

I thought the symbol looked familiar and the old/young guy they found said the chips were unusual, so I thought what the heck, I'll do like a true SPN fan and research it. ;)

Glad you like! :D

What the hell! How does this even pay off in the end when no one's going to be able to see the movie? Now I wonder if it'll actually hit theaters in Germany at all or just go straight to DVD.
But -- you met Julie Benz? How awesome is that! :D Did you talk about anything else? Yes, curious cat here. ;)

Dedicated fans rule! :)

She is just a really really cool lady. There is a video of her answering my question and talking about the Js and filming Saints here in my Dragon con report. http://tahirire.livejournal.com/157524.html#cutid1 She also talked to use more about the Js in the autograph session. She still sees them around town sometimes and she loves them to bits. It's all in there. :)

Nice addition with the Family Guy A-Team vid LOL. That thing is golden.

I don't think Patrick turning back the clock for Bobby would have healed him. He would have just been a younger paralytic.

My thoughts exactly. I tried not to think on it during the episode in case my brain got carried away and i missed some dialogue, but i don't reckon losing years would mean he gained legs.

Sam: It's like grumpy old men!
Dean v 93.2-h 'n' Bobby: Shut UP, Sam!
Tahiri: *rewinds*

Laughing just as much the second time 'round.

OMG Sam's amusement when Dean tried to hit on that maid was so awesome. One of the best moments in the episode.

Totally agreeing with you in terms of old!Dean's expressions. Dude. Its Jensen in 50 years, seriously.

Dear Sam Jared Sam,

YER FAAAAAAAACE!!

*Rotflburgers*

LOLOL AMEN.

I'm glad to see Sam asserting himself more this season, ( ... )
