I need to post. But I have ...like...nothing to say.
Then why post?
Because I have nothing to say. And when I posted every other day, I ALWAYS had something to say. It'd be so that I'd make notes of what I'd post the next day; or post on multiple topics at once. And it was fun, and energizing.
This time, I have this...well, I'd either pick a subject and force it out (a poem or short essay - probably it wouldn't take long) or I'd just talk out of my butt.
This is butt-talking here, by the way. I'm sure that was apparent.
So yeah, this writing isn't coming out as easily as what I remember my writing was several months ago, and I've hypothesized that it's BECAUSE I'm not writing as often. Writing comes easily when you write regularly, that's all.
And I'm committing myself to off-line writing besides...which is unfortunate perhaps. I have so many small interests that I really do want to stay committed to, and sometimes they slip my mind when others come into focus. Examples: taekwondo; the Korean language; Code-Name Fox; searching for a job; researching graduate programs; running; writing; meditation; spirituality; and reading. I'm sure there are more, but these are the first to come to mind. So...I suppose it'll be easier to be the awesome efficient personal-grown-machine that I envision myself to-be, if I just made some of these into natural habits.
For example, a quick run (or equivelant exercise) when I wake up. Or writing a bit of my current piece of literature at a set time each night. Or making a list of the few chores I'd like to do the next day...and actually do them.
Those are my current goals. I'm likely to forget them and make more later. Unfortunately.
1. Write
2. Exercise
3. Chores (look-for-job-in-Korea/research-grad-school-apps)
Wish me luck.
Oh, and while I'm posting, and to enforce the random nature that's typical for these post-types, here (the cloud-cuckoolander types), here:
