Prompt: #633 - this is not the way your character expected things to go
This is not what Reid expected when he finally found the courage to declare his love for Morgan. He doubted that Morgan would get violent though it was a likely uncontrolled reaction of an alpha male such as himself. Reid had leaned more toward Morgan gently letting him down because he's straight or Reid's too young or whatever excuse he thought up on the spot. Either was a viable option.
This? This had never crossed his mind. Morgan had pushed Reid against the wall and locked their lips in a bruising kiss. He was caught off guard, but soon found himself kissing back and running his hands along Morgan's back. He had waited so long to be able to do this.
"It's about time Pretty Boy," Morgan said when they finally pulled apart.
"Well, if I had known this is how you'd react, I would have told you sooner."
Prompt: #631 - you character walks through an open door
Spoilers: Not quite, but Identity.
They do not profile each other as a rule. Or so they say, but it's been obvious since that day in Rossi's office that none of them can help it.
So Morgan thinks it's more than appropriate that he instinctively reached for his gun when he noticed the bedroom door was open. Reid never slept with it open.
He let out a sigh of relief when he saw the young genius, contacts replaced with horn-rimmed glasses, reading a book. The bedside table lamp cast a yellow glow across his face and for awhile Morgan just watched his eyes dart frantically as he absorbed the new information.
"It's about time you came up," Reid muttered as he set the book aside.
Morgan crawled besides him on the bed and wrapped his arms around his lean frame. "You said you were going to bed."
"Yes bed. Not 'to sleep'. You call yourself a profiler."
"I don't profile..." Morgan trailed off as he looked back to the open door. "I'm sorry I didn't pick it up babe. I hope you didn't wait too long before you started reading."
"No, I realized that if you knew I was implying sex that you wouldn't keep me waiting long." Reid smiled mischievously at Morgan.
The open door was forgotten and as Morgan listened to Reid's breathing even as sleep took over, he knew why they shouldn't profile each other all the time.
Profiles can be wrong.
