Notes: Prompts are from 100wordstories . I wrote these a couple days ago, but I think I'm getting sick. I haven't felt like writing and wanted to do a few more, but oh well.

Don't bother Simon now. He's too busy reorganizing his supplies again. Simple Simon. Thinks that's important. It's not.
Not when there are spirits wandering the corridors of Serenity. I can feel them. Passengers come and go, but they leave their mark. Serenity always remembers them.
I can hear them talking sometimes. They saw what Mal did to Jayne after the betrayal and they whispered the good news in my ear.
It's a shame they couldn't tell me about Simon's plan to jump Early. When I returned, they assured me that he was very brave. Serenity will remember him well.

Jayne knew Simon was too good for him. After all that he had done from Ariel to the most insignificant argument, there wasn't a reason for him to stay.
They lay there, Simon half on top of Jayne, snoring lightly. Jayne pushed a strand of sweat slicked hair out of Simon's face.
No, Jayne didn't deserve to see Simon like this. He looked so perfect it nearly broke Jayne's heart.
Jayne could feel Simon stir and he smiled down at him.
"I love ya Simon," Jayne said kissing him.
"I know, you big lug," Simon replied sleepily. "Love you too."
