Title: Benajmin Linus (Part 2/?)
Characters: The Others, Kate, Sawyer, Jack

Rating: PG-13 (I cursed, and used the f-word.)
Summary: Ben meets Juliet and is devising a plan.
Warnings: Cursing...and I think that's it. Again with my overactive imagination. There isn't much but flashbacks.
Pairing: I have a feeling that later I'll be going in the Ben/Juliet direction.

Part 1
"You'll make tons of friends, I'm sure there are boys your age." Rachel smiled her usual fake smile at Ben, like what she did three hours ago didn't matter.
"Et in terra pax hominibus bonae voluntatis." Ben mumbled to himself. And on earth peace to men of good will. He had found a hymn book with english translations in the hatch a year or so ago.
"What was that?" Rachel asked sweetly.
"Nothing."
"You can stay here for now." The other looked into the house. It was furnished, but it looked a little dusty. The walls were painted a bright yellow, with an easter green color. The couches were off-white, and there were pictures of flowers and ponds, and a print of Monet.
"Well Ben, do you like it?" Rachel gave Ben a say-that-you-like-it-or-I'll-kill-you-too look, and Ben nodded. He honestly hated it, because his mother liked it.

"Hurry, we need to get out of here. Somethin' tells me Robin Hood and his merry men ain't stupid." Sawyer paced the room, waiting for Kate to help Jack with the handcuff. "Let me get it." Sawyer took a gun that an other left behind at the cages, walked up to Jack and shot the handcuff. Kate jumped back, and Jack looked at Sawyer, a little surprised.
"That works too." Kate said, brushing some of her hair behind her ear. She put down the needle she was trying to use to pick the lock. Jack was still a little stunned, but got up.
"Are you guys ok?" Jack looked at everyone, concerned.
"Just peachy. I'm sure you docs know about placebos?" Sawyer glared at Jack, who was a little confused. Sawyer had told Kate about the fake pacemaker shot. Sawyer let his heart rate go to about 150 to see if the others were really telling the truth. Then he had used a rock to take the damned watch off.
"The others lied about giving Sawyer a pacemaker..." Kate explained. She didn't want to tell Jack about the one guy beating Sawyer up or how the others made them break up rocks or anything.

"Thank you so much, Kerry." Rachel kissed Kerry on the cheek, wincing a bit when his five o'clock shadow scraped her chin. They kissed again, and his hand made its way to her butt.
Ben looked away in disgust. He was glad in just a week he'd be free from his mother forever, able to finally leave this island. He was going to turn 25 next week, and everyone told him to wait till then. He couldn't wait till the night was over and he could leave his mom's house and go to his own and sleep. His thoughts were disrupted when he felt the earth vibrate. A few things fell from shelves, and then it stopped. He ran outside to see what it was.
"Ben!" Ralph shouted. Ben ran over, happy to be away from his mom.
"I can get to the shore line within half an hour." Ben said, not waiting for Ralph to give commands. Ralph nodded, and Ben ran towards the jungle.

"So what do you plan on doing about Kate and Sawyer?" Juliet asked.
"You mean what don't I plan on doing." Ben stared at Juliet, trying to read her. If eyes were the windows to the soul, Juliet's were closed and the blinds were down. Juliet raised an eyebrow.
"What?"
"Exactly." Juliet closed her eyes testily, as Ben walked into his study and emerged a few minutes later with the messenger bag he used to carry that bunny in.
"What are you doing with Ben Jr.?" Juliet motioned towards the bag. Ben pulled the white rabbit, Ben Jr., out and stroked it's fur.
"Ben Jr. and I are leaving." He put the bunny back into the bag. "Make sure the door to the medical hatch is UNLOCKED." Ben stressed that it be unlocked. It usually locks anybody in who shuts the door, and they have to use a key to get out. No, he wanted Kate, Sawyer, and Jack out.

"My name's Juliet Reynolds." The young blonde shook her head, unable to believe the plane had crashed. Her head hurt. It was bleeding, she knew that. "I'm a doctor, get away." She pushed Ben back and felt her head. A bump was forming.
"You're bleeding." Ben tried to wipe some blood off her forehead, but she pulled back.
"Goddammit, I said I was a doctor!" She yelled at him. She started crying, and passed out.
"W-where am I?" Juliet opened her eyes slowly, realizing she was in a bed. Her head was throbbing. So the plane crash wasn't a dream. Can't DHARMA make their fucking planes right? She was supposed to be a replacement, and now she's on some remote island in the middle of nowhere. God, she had a life! She was happy being a fertility doctor, and when she found out about DHARMA, and being apart of a research project, she was a bit nervous at first. But the pay seemed very nice, and it was only a year, so she agreed. Now she wished she had just stayed in the States.
"You were in a plane crash. By the way, why on earth were there only two people on your plane?" Juliet realized this was the same guy who was trying to help her earlier.
"Where's Jerry? Is he ok?" She looked around. "Where is he?!"
"He didn't make it." Ben shook his head, and got a better look at Juliet. She looked a couple years younger than him. She had pretty medium-length blonde hair, and her tear-filled eyes were a bright blue. "You were the DHARMA replacements?" Everyone knew the replacements that had replaced Ben and his mother and father had died last night. They killed themselves.
She nodded.
