1. Pineapple Express is hilarious.
2. Okay, so I went shopping for my kid sister's birthday present today, and I saw a Star Trek manga. I flipped it open randomly, and came across the BEST STORY EVER. Kirk finds some sort of CUDDLY BEAR that makes people UNCONTROLLABLY RELEASE EMOTION. So, in a page of panels filled with HEARTS, we have the following exchanges:
UHURA: Mr. Sulu, have I told you that I love you?!
SULU: I love you too! [but they're not kissing, so I'm still going with "gay BFF"]
SCOTTY: Mr. Chekov, you're like a son to me!
CHEKOV: Mr. Scott, you're as good as a real Russian! [I thought this one was cute]
MCCOY: Spock, do you know how much I respect and admire you--?
And, of course, the kicker...
KIRK [cuddling bear]: Spock, have I ever told you how much I care about you -- [gets interrupted]
It's BEAUTIFUL. Later Spock claims he was unaffected because he has no emotion (whatever, Spock) and Kirk asks, "I didn't say anything, did I?" "Nothing I'll repeat, Captain," replies Spock.
I took phone pictures that I will add later, but they're super blurry. Also, the cover mentioned that Wil Wheaton wrote one of the chapters, and I hope to God it was that one.
