A melting of minds, a cerebral mesh
We had plans for last night, really, but you wouldn't know it from what actually happened. We were going to order pizza, watch The Fires of Pompeii while consuming it, and have key lime pie for dessert (happy birthday to squarelife.) However, when we found out that they couldn't deliver the pizza for EIGHTY minutes, we canceled the order and went for mexican food instead. No room for dessert when we got home, not until very late, at least, so it had to wait til tonight. Yesssss, my preciousssss. Key lime pah, all for meh (ok, half for meh.)
No exercise, of course. Not on a birthday!
As you suspected I might, I broke down and bought the shoes today despite the additional delay mentioned on the website. They have a special going right now - buy one pair get one half off - so I'm a bit mollified.
As always, it's freezing in here, and even though I have a heating pad against my spine to warm me, my fingers would be a very cold shock against normally-temperatured flesh. It's the price I pay for my corner-of-the-room cube.
