We stopped by a yarn store on the island that everyone raves about; it's . . nice? Good selection of some upper end brands and fibers, but when one of the sales associates asked me if I was doing alright and described the store as overwhelming it took an effort to stop myself from giggling. As um, no. The Beehive in Victoria? That's overwhelming. Weaving Works in Seattle? Oh yes. Churchmouse? Bwahaha. Ahem. You are joking, yes?
Dad gave us enchiladas and cheesecake and apparently bonded a bit with a PAWS cat while he was out running errands, to the point of peering at me to see if he could con me into a second secondhand adultish Doom-sized cat. Yes, this would end well . . .
