Oh god, why does Amanda Vickery's manner annoy me so much. She does stuff on such interesting topics, and yet I can barely watch her shows, and can't listen to radio programs, since there are no visuals to distract me.
Really most inconvenient.

I have read the article about the Heyer bio, and omg, there's Arnie Perlstein in the comments - why does DW have no facepalm emoticons? Also, I can't decide whether I want that bio. The city is still covered in snow. I love the snow, but the streets are not cleaned, and when they are being cleaned, people get killed or hurt by snow and ice falling from the roof or stuff like this.
