Haven't posted in a while.
I'm starting to notice a trend here.
Most of which has been going on has involved my transformation into a hermit and my battle against it. I've spent most of my time home, working. Though getting to get out to River and Sarah's housewarming party was awesome. I'm just sad Dustin couldn't be there. But on the upside, he'll be home tomorrow.
And as much as I wish Aurelia would finish teething, I kinda don't want her to. But only because she's taking a break from that and has been in a stellar mood as of late. I love that she's just such a happy baby.
As far as the legal front goes, I'm working on getting adoption papers in line so that we can proceed with Dustin legally adopting Sam and Trystan. I'm just hoping that that helps get Sam home faster. I'm so fed up with all the politics and bureaucracy that are keeping him down south.
I'm also tired of dumping our monies into rent each month. I can't wait until we can get land and a house of our own. I'm prolly gonna have way more fun than I think I will when it comes to designing the insides of said home.
Work's been going really well too. I had several dress orders come in in the span of two days, along with other orders too. And aside from a tunic and hood, I'm just waiting on supplies to get here so I can finish the rest of the stuff. I've been slightly altering how things go together. For example, I started putting a waist band on the skirts and that makes it look sooo much better.
I'm also looking forward to my vacation coming up. I'm heading south to see all the in-laws with Des and Rae baby. I'm really looking forward to a week of chillin' out.
I've also realized that I'm rambling far more than usual, so I'm headed off to bed.
