not-so-pleasant surprises

Well, Rich and I will be heading north to Muskegon early tomorrow morning. His grandpa is going in for surgery to have a tumor removed. It's unknown at this point if it's cancerous or not. He's not in the best of health otherwise, either. So, having him go under to have traumatic things done to his body is a little frightening.
