Pissed at Gamescom
So, I go in today to what can only be described as every German gamer in all of Germany lined up at booths outside the koeln messe on every side trying to get in. I snapped a few pictures of the crowd on my way through the press entrance, no line there (thanks painapple).
When I enter the hallway to the show floor I am handed a magazine of all the goings on for today. I am thinking to myself now why wasn't this available yesterday?
Thank You Gamescom for not doing it on what would have been my most important day.
However, I am also glad I spent all that time at the booths because the lineups to get in now are beyond horrendous. The Blizzard booth for Diablo III has at least a three hour wait for your five minutes of play time. The line actually goes around the booth twice. I snapped a picture of as much of the line as I could fit in the field of vision.
Well, I have to change into Gamezebo Gear as I have a VIP (Their word not mine) Tour of Brink by Bethesda. I sincerely hope Bethesda knocks another one out of the park. Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Brink that would be awesome.
A note for Bassbeast, I just saw a 4 or 5 minutes trailer for Castlevania: Lord of Shadows and I can tell you it looks amazing but God of War rip offish. But, nowadays you kind of have to be God of War rip offish, it's the in thing right now. I think I heard Bill Nighy playing one of the voices and Patrick Stewart appears to be the narrator for this one.
Well, back to the grind.....I have to say now that I understand fully why they did one day for media and special guests. It was SOOOOO important......The lines now are so bad I don't think I will be able to get in and see anything else. Unless, they like my shiny press badge?
