Pic dump
Seems I've rediscovered LJ for now.
A few pics, scribbly to refined.
This one dates back to BerliCon. Rattie worked a lot. /me was getting rat deprived! But I need my dose of rat... it's like crack, I tell ya!
This was done really quickly outside, I wanted to finish it before we left again, and the paper was soggy and the pencil was too soft. Furgeta visited Germany and we (me, Sev, him, Frazzle) made a trip to the Britzer Garden in the south of Berlin and sat down at that place I scribbled there. I wanted to see crayfish... but there weren't any. T_T
Speaking of scribbles... in our WoD Africa group, this is the face I've been constantly wearing for three sessions now.
Urrr, and I tried to scan the drawing I gave to Duamutef... the original has glitter and looks much more harmonious. I really really dislike the scan, even though I tweaked it forever. But it's not about the goofy/silly look, which is 'kind of' supposed to be like that.
This pic has no real backstory. It's just a random scene. Jarmara and the scimitar cats get along most of the times, but because of their being different species and their all being stubborn, proud cats, misunderstandings happen a lot. Lion thinks scimitars want one thing, but they don't, scimitars have wild prejudices of lions, lion thinks scimitars are just a bunch of savages. Also, women are crazy anyway. Poor guy doesn't even know what he did wrong _this_ time.
Also, I wanted to popularize this amazing ancient cat: Lokotunjailurus, an early African member of the Homotherini tribe. Big huge dewclaws, long elegant limbs, same shoulder height as a lion, longer, more flexible back than later tribe members. Must have been a fearsome beast!

Next, the usual bunch of lion pics for the forum. People there have a neverending demand of lion pictures, it seems. The first was for use as an avatar for a new user. He wanted his character based on Simba.
For fun, I added Simba's colors later.
And a commission for an user. I already drew Serri once, and here he is again, showing off his Star Wars MMO guild membership.
The shield generator was heavily reffed from a movie still.
But Leopatra broke away from the dictatorship of lion fursonas and created a hip hop vampire sparkle duck sona! I totally had to draw that, and I even added a background! WE TWO ARE SO ORIJINAL!!!!11
I know you can't take any more after the utter breathtaking awesomeness of that last pic, so I'll leave you alone for now.
