I'm not actually a swan. Well not originally. I mean I wasn't born this way.

Well it definitely has it's advantages, or so I might imagine. For example, your ability to swim certainly isn't hampered- not to mention that you can fly as well!

[It's so enthusiastic about such obvious things- "A" for effort?]

That's what all this is about. I'm severely limited in my ability to travel through adverse terrain! Being able to swim for brief periods would be quite an accomplishment.

I'd prefer to be human. But this form isn't exactly terrible. Not anymore at least. I just had to give it a little time.

[But Musashi's enthusiasm makes Odette smile.]

Besides, I'll be human again when the moon rises.

Don't be ridiculous. Even if your body appears to be that of a bird, you're still human. Just like if I were in a civilian prosthesis I'd still be a Tachikoma, at heart!
