*By the way, the word "rich people" used here is a translation of "物持ち(monomochi)" which is a bit different from the normal rich people translation of "金持ち(kanemochi)". Monomochi just means the kind of person who's rich with goods. ie, person who owns a lot of things. Also, any things in brackets and italics are my notes.
This year is Arashi’s 9th year. It doesn’t mean we say this because of that, but the theme for the interview is "Things that have been going on with yourself for a long time".

"Things that have been going on for a long time" I wonder what… Ah, I have a pair of noise-cancelling headphones I received for my birthday two years ago. They broke in one go and so I sent them in for repair and have been using them once again! Even if you say I’ve been using them for quite a long time, it’s not “long” because it’s been 2 years. Things I’ve been using “dauntlessly” (laugh). (In addition after serious thought) Here it is! The staff jumper from the time of the “Yoiko no Mikata” drama! Ah… It’s not that I’m normally using it (laugh)? All in all, because I was the leading actor, I could think up the designs on my own. Because I hate being cold, plus, the lining’s fluffy… Anyway, anyway! I wanted to go with warm things. And when you say winter location, there’s the recent “Kisarazu Cat’s Eye World Series”. When everyone around me was wearing the Cat’s staff jumper with high spirits at the time, I was treated as if I was unpatriotic (laugh). But, it’s cause I was cold! Cat’s Jumpers are thin. Super thin!! So, I continued to wear the “Yoiko” jumper (laugh). With a meaning like that, during the time of “Yoiko” it’s true as expected that I received a blanket as a birthday present. At the time, I covered myself with it even for tests, and there was only time to sleep while on the way somewhere… but, I was allowed to use it quite a bit. I have that in the car even now. Rich people? Totally good. They don’t really throw things out. They use something even if it’s broken. So, though I don’t use them, I have a lot of things. To this very day, I still have a pencil case I bought when I was in my 2nd year of middle school. Yellow… It was the most fashionable pencil case for me at that time (laugh). Afterwards, there’s red wine I received from magazine writers for the 5 year anniversary put out in the living room with the words “5 Years Anniversary” inscribed on the bottle. And each of the member’s names are written on it. As for others… There really are various things.
Rap lyrics and song compositions? Ah… That’s true. That’s been for a long time, hasn’t it? A song I made in the very beginning… was when I was a sophomore in college, I think. I made it with my friend. The audio source disappeared. I want to listen to it again. We had written a good song that packs quite a punch (laugh). Yeah, I started composing from that point. Playing a record at my friend’s house, connecting the mike to the mixer… that was truly a primitive technique (laugh). It started from that. Though it might be a long time… But, now there are parts that are for work. So, the more I write to organize my own feelings, the more I write things I can’t write for work. No matter what, the lyrics I write for Arashi have to be written for Arashi. If I’m completely in my own world, making them myself, I might be writing so much at once for that.
"Recent Happenings" Plans for the end of the year and the beginning of the next? Well, I’ve already been busy with party preparations (laugh). It’s super hard. One of my friends is going to become a Buddhist monk after the turn of the year. His family runs a temple… He was also a DJ. Because it’ll be his final time to be a DJ, I’m thinking I’ll throw that kind of party for him. I’m busy with those preparations. Also… I’ve been getting along well with Tegoshi-kun (laugh). When I went to Hiroshima for the world cup Volleyball tournament, he came to see the match. After that, staff included, we went out to eat. Well, there my drunken self was involved… (laugh). And, as we talked about various things, I thought that he’s a good guy. Before, when I was doing a radio recording, he was doing a recording at the studio next door, and came to greet me. He was like, “I’m Tegoshi” (laugh). And I answered with an “Oh!”, not knowing if it was okay to respond like that. “Oh… Oh. Give me your number.” he said (laugh). That was about 2 years ago, I think? It was Hiroshima from then on. We talked about this and that. Now, you know, we’re mailing each other back and forth, and we’ve been getting along well.

"Things that have been going on for a long time" What, I wonder? Isn’t number one clothes? At least, even now I’m using the things I was using during my freshman year of high school. I have a hard black bracelet that I found by chance and have been using for about a year. That was also something I had bought my freshman year of high school. I was wearing it even during “Spin Arashi”, maybe. I’m wearing the down jacket I bought when I was in high school because I’ve been going on location just to the mountains lately (laugh). Things I bought during high school I use quite a bit, I think. Recently, I found a bunch of clothing in around 3 huge cardboard boxes that I have (laugh). Ah! Also, these shoes (Points at the black shoes he was wearing that day). I’ve been using these for a super long time. Insanely long. Because they’re really tattered, thinking they’re no good anymore, I bought a pair of black shoes recently. Like always I’m wearing these. I sure like them. They’re not selling the same ones anymore. That time, I bought two pairs of black and white shoes at one time and have been wearing them… I bought one pair to use for a live. And, I wore out the ones for personal use… so I’m wearing the ones from that live. I’ve been wearing these a lot from the time “Gokusen” had finished.
Watches and accessories? Ah… I lose those right away (laugh). I lose those well enough. Even the watch I bought in my third year of high school got lost about a year ago… It went somewhere. If I had it, I’d totally use it, but… it’s disappeared. I’ve been searching for it, but it hasn’t appeared at all. Even accessories… Then again, last year or the year before when I went to Hawaii, I bought an expensive shell necklace. Within two days of coming back, it disappeared. It was a horrible shock (laugh). I lose necklaces to a great extent. But… I don’t take necklaces and stuff off until I get home, so it doesn't disappear unless it does. I also lose rings. Furthermore, every now and then… I’d get drunk and give them to people (laugh). The things that are properly left behind will remain? But, I always think how the things that are gone are what I'm fated not to have (laugh).
After that, my use of colognes hasn’t changed this whole time. I’m deeply attached to about 3 varieties. I don’t use others outside of those ones. In the scent department, I’ve always been using the same body soap. Afterwards, what is there, I wonder? Baseball? Though I had been playing it since I was little… I haven’t been called out for the Jimusho’s amateur team (laugh). I haven’t been able to surf at all. I haven’t been playing golf either… what then? Not much. I have the interest, but… I don’t really have anything like hobbies or anything. If you call it something that’s been going on for a long time… Wouldn’t that be work maybe? (laugh)
"Recent Happenings" Filming “Kakushi Toride(The Hidden Fortress)” until the end of the year and from the beginning of January, I’ll be filming “HanaDan”, won’t I? So, if you call it recent happenings, it’s filming. I’m sure working (laugh). After that… I rode the train today for the first time in such a long time. Before going to work today, I kind of had a place I wanted to go to, and thinking that there’d be traffic if I went by car, I took the train. It’s been about half a year, I think? I rode it for about 13 minutes (laugh). Though I thought that because it was 9 in the morning there’d be a lot of people, but it was totally fine. It was very normal? No one was talking… Well, I was listening to music the whole time. But, all in all it's tiring. I’m not used to riding the trains and being struck by how many people there were... I was a little overwhelmed today. Oh… You don’t want to meet me on the train? What the heck is that? (laugh) But today, I really met someone I knew. When I got off at the station, the director who took care of me previously was there (laugh). Because it was the morning, I wasn’t wearing contacts. And, though I got off the train, I didn’t know which exit to go through… Looking at the guide board, I wondered where the exit was, and when I went to ask someone, a familiar face had come up to me (laugh). When I asked him what he was doing there, he responded asking me, “What am I doing? You… What are you doing?” (laugh)

"Things that have been going on for a long time" Hobbies are the thing that’s been going on the longest (laugh). Ultimately, wouldn’t it be drawing? Drawing and making things. Even if you say so… It feels like I’m drawing pictures when I want to. And, right now, I have a slight interest for spray (graffiti art) (laugh). Though I’m taking a little break from drawing… If you say it’s something that I’ve been doing for a long time, I guess it has to be drawing. In the old days, you know, I had received a lot of art supplies for my birthday. Everyone knew I draw pictures and so they gave me so many art supplies, but I wasn’t drawing that much at the time (laugh). So, you see, those are incredibly helpful now (laugh). I’m surprised now that I’ve received so much! (laugh) I’m allowed to use them a fair bit. Ah! After that, it’s fishing. Fishing, you see, this… becomes a hobby when you’ve been doing it for a long time, doesn’t it? It might really be cool (laugh). Like, when I’m fishing... I just can’t take it. What is that, I wonder? I get the feeling that I just can’t take it anymore. [ie, he can't get enough of it] So, I’ve come to really watch stuff like the CS fishing channel (laugh). Yesterday, too, when I was doing something or other, I watched it the whole time. Also, I went to the bookstore, but I was standing there reading fishing magazines for 2 hours. Hu-hu-hu (laugh). It’s the best, fishing.
Things I’ve gotten from the members for example? Not much really (laugh). I haven’t gotten anything even recently (my birthday)… But in the past, I often wore clothes I got from Aiba-chan. Those are sitting right at home. After that, I have received a photo album of Mexico from MatsuJun. Because I draw pictures, it seems he chose to combine them together. He’s a good person, isn’t he, that MatsuJun (laugh). Ah! And my watch (Points at the wristwatch he’s wearing). This, you know, I was asked what I wanted for my birthday by Ogu-san. Because I didn’t have anything… Speaking of which, I think MatsuJun had gotten a watch. When I said that the watch would look good on me… He gave it to me. It’s probably super expensive. Because I’m not familiar with that kind of thing at all, I don’t know it well (laugh). Because I receive such awesome things, I use them a whole lot. Because basically, I don’t really own any expensive things (laugh). I mean… This (clothes made from jersey cloth) was 900 yen, and these (likewise, the jeans) are things I’ve gotten (laugh). I’ve even received things like accessories... They’re all things I’ve gotten (laugh). So I treasure every single thing I’ve received.
I think that maybe rich people are good. Because they’re people who don’t throw away things by any means (laugh). They use bags and stuff to the end. Before, you know, I had a belt bag [fanny pack kind of thing] that I often used. It’s sitting right at home. Sportswear? Ah, that’s true. Sportswear from when I was in middle school (laugh). But… that, you know, seems like they went somewhere? I didn’t know where they went while I had them on TV. But, I don’t think I’d throw them away. So, whether or not they use them for a long time doesn’t matter, rich people are good. The things I’ve gotten and the things I bought myself are most definitely somewhere at home.
"Recent Happenings" Recent happenings are... that I’ve drunk too much (laugh). And, back then my acquaintance, you know? Gave me pickled cucumbers. I put them in my bag and went to bed leaving them as is (laugh). So… it’s incredibly stinky! Unbelievably stinky. Now, you know, my bag is the worst (laugh). I slept leaving them there like that.. And so, I’m feeling a little down today (laugh). The turn of the year? …What am I doing, you wonder? New Year’s Eve is the countdown concert… and after that I’ll go to the shrine with everyone for the new year’s visit. So, I’ll probably be at home on the 1st (New Year’s Day). When I have a rest like that, maybe I’ll go fishing, I wonder (laugh). So, that means this year I’ll go risk my life fishing! (laugh) Alright, I’ve decided. I shall go fishing (laugh)!

"Things that have been going on for a long time" I think it’s games. Yeah, Lately, I’ve been up all the way until 6 in the morning. I’m playing games, too, but, I can’t really sleep in the first place. Well, I guess even prodigies get distressed, right? Sometimes I think how nice it would be to be an ordinary person (laugh). You drink and sleep while thinking that worries seem like they can be settled quickly and that you’ll probably forget about it. The worries of a prodigy? What is that? (laugh). It means it doesn't end, right? I’ve been very distressed lately. Well, what am I distressed about? I don’t know. Thinking I can’t sleep. I’ve felt like this before. Well… Well, shall I get back to the topic? (laugh). Well? I began to play games? Maybe… It was when I was in kindergarten thereabouts, I think. I found my parents had them. When I was playing in the closet, I came out from there. When I asked what it is, they said it’s a game. And then, I began playing games. From then until now… Yeah, games are what I’ve been doing the longest. Altogether longer than my time in Arashi, sorry to say (laugh). Baseball? Baseball… I was truly properly devoting myself to it for two years. From my 4th year of elementary school to my 6th. It’s like someone’s favorite thing for example? It’s hard to say… There isn’t anything. Hmm, well, I think being rich is a good direction. Basically, because I’m living a life surrounded by radio waves, when something new comes out, I buy it. Outside of that, I might not replace things like computers. Also the new things I have to remember, I don’t really replace. Same goes for cellphones and such. Though I’ll buy games (laugh). Things I’ve gotten from the members? I don’t have anything that I’ve been using now. Because I haven’t really received things that I can use (laugh). You’d think “Why, they’re meaningless events!” So I think of what would be good..Then what I ended up with was Jun-kun’s clothes (laugh). Well, at that time we were all talking about Jun-kun’s clothes. Wondering things like how much Jun-kun’s clothes cost and where they’re sold. Nor will I really have that style, right? (laugh). So I think I’d like to get them! …But they won’t come even now? My birthday’s in June. Half a year. But well, Jun-kun is busy. I’ll be waiting patiently (laugh).
"Recent Happenings" The end of the year? I’ll be in Tokyo Dome for the end of the year. A hundred to one. And… what would I be doing after that? I’d be playing games, right? (laugh). But, you get lonely with the end of the year, right? The end of the year and New Year’s are lonely, right, because it’s the quietest time for Tokyo. Well, I like it in turn. But you know, it was fun. 2007 was a really pleasant year. We did a lot of concerts… Leader had slipped saying how he wanted to go to an onsen at the FNS Song Festival (laugh). But hey, we’ve become adults, I think. Yeah… you know. We’ve become less enjoyable adults. I’ve also finally taken on some rotundity. Well, it’s unfortunate (laugh). Because this year is the 9th year of Arashi’s activities. Well, as Leader says, it looks like the 10th year will naturally be exciting. Though we’ve said it like we’ve already experienced the 10th year already (laugh). Maybe, he’s probably already experiencing it. That feeling that the nature of the 10th year, the 10th anniversary, is exciting, right? Maybe this time is his second time, I wonder. But because it’s my first time, I don’t know what will happen. They say often that things aren’t thrown out, right? I can go on and on. So, I’m the type that feels bad (laugh). Like, I don’t really like to put a lot of things in my room. Above all, things that are pretty long? But you know, things I’ve fairly gotten from people I take properly. So there are various things, but… it’s different to say they’re things I’ve been using for a long time? If it’s something I’ve gotten from the other members… I got a cushion. I got it from Sho-chan. I don’t really know when that was, though (laugh). It was a cushion bearing the Adidas symbol. Blue. I have that on the sofa.
But, I’ve been finding really awesome things lately. Things I’ll use for many years. Like I recently bought a coffee, well, what they call a coffee maker that I wanted no matter what that some guy left in the filming studio. I drink from it every day at home. When I drank the coffee one time before in the studio, I thought stuff like, “This doesn’t taste like the one at home…” (laugh), and that it has the store-bought taste. I searched for it and then bought it thinking “This is okay, isn’t it!?” I can probably use this for a long time! I relatively pinpoint whenever I go shopping. I haven’t been window shopping. There are people who go shopping and want the one that’s at that place. With that kind of meaning,I have a lot of clothes that I’ve been using for several years. Things like leather jackets… I’m always using those kinds of things. Besides, I still have things I bought when I just joined Arashi. Though the number of times I’ve worn them on stage is diminishing (laugh). Also… watches. …Though I haven’t been wearing them lately (laugh). Ah! That is the longest thing. My mom has a Vitton wallet that she bought on her honeymoon. And, I got it from her when I was a high schooler. And, I was always using it. Two times I dropped it and two times it came back…. It’s a miracle wallet (laugh). I’m not using it now, but that’s because I’m using it as the second generation. I think it’s probably in my house. That is the longest thing.
Following that, every year I go to the amusement park to go on the thrill rides (laugh). I go once a year. Though I haven’t really told people… I go every year. I like it. The thrill rides (laugh). After all, I know a couple of other guys who really like thrill rides and so the three of us go every year. We’re quietly lined up (laugh). We’re lined up waiting for 3 hours and thinking, “This is chancy… it’ll be embarrassing if this leaks out.” Because I’ve already been going three times, it means that three years are continuing. I kind of wanted to keep this a secret, though (laugh). So, sorry, but, I’ve already been riding that newest one! Previously. I went this year so soon after it was finished. I set off after lunch and went to just go on that one ride (laugh).
"Recent Happenings" My stage performance (butai) ended safely. It feels like that it’s been settled for the time being. And, next time, I plan to go golfing as it’s been a while. After that plan, I’ll be playing soccer games with my friends and such… Ah! And lately, I’ve been thinking of having my wisdom teeth pulled. It hurts sooo much now. They’re growing in directly horizontal. So, the base of my chin hurts. Around the nerve ending? So, I plan to get them pulled shortly.Those are the recent happenings (laugh).My plans for new year’s? Nothing in particular, I don’t think. The usual countdown concert and new year’s visit to the shrine. So, after that, for the time being I plan to go home to grandma’s!

And, though I got off the train, I didn’t know which exit to go through… Looking at the guide board, I wondered where the exit was, and when I went to ask someone, a familiar face had come up to me (laugh). "Things that have been going on for a long time" Hobbies are the thing that’s been going on the longest (laugh). Ultimately, wouldn’t it be drawing? Drawing and making things. Even if you say so… It feels like I’m drawing pictures when I want to. And, right now, I have a slight interest for spray (graffiti art) (laugh). Though I’m taking a little break from drawing… If you say it’s something that I’ve been doing for a long time, I guess it has to be drawing. In the old days, you know, I had received a lot of art supplies for my birthday. Everyone knew I draw pictures and so they gave me so many art supplies, but I wasn’t drawing that much at the time (laugh). So, you see, those are incredibly helpful now (laugh). I’m surprised now that I’ve received so much! (laugh) I’m allowed to use them a fair bit. Ah! After that, it’s fishing. Fishing, you see, this… becomes a hobby when you’ve been doing it for a long time, doesn’t it? It might really be cool (laugh). Like, when I’m fishing... I just can’t take it. What is that, I wonder? I get the feeling that I just can’t take it anymore. [ie, he can't get enough of it] So, I’ve come to really watch stuff like the CS fishing channel (laugh). Yesterday, too, when I was doing something or other, I watched it the whole time. Also, I went to the bookstore, but I was standing there reading fishing magazines for 2 hours. Hu-hu-hu (laugh). It’s the best, fishing.
Things I’ve gotten from the members for example? Not much really (laugh). I haven’t gotten anything even recently (my birthday)… But in the past, I often wore clothes I got from Aiba-chan. Those are sitting right at home. After that, I have received a photo album of Mexico from MatsuJun. Because I draw pictures, it seems he chose to combine them together. He’s a good person, isn’t he, that MatsuJun (laugh). Ah! And my watch (Points at the wristwatch he’s wearing). This, you know, I was asked what I wanted for my birthday by Ogu-san. Because I didn’t have anything… Speaking of which, I think MatsuJun had gotten a watch. When I said that the watch would look good on me… He gave it to me. It’s probably super expensive. Because I’m not familiar with that kind of thing at all, I don’t know it well (laugh). Because I receive such awesome things, I use them a whole lot. Because basically, I don’t really own any expensive things (laugh). I mean… This (clothes made from jersey cloth) was 900 yen, and these (likewise, the jeans) are things I’ve gotten (laugh). I’ve even received things like accessories... They’re all things I’ve gotten (laugh). So I treasure every single thing I’ve received.
I think that maybe rich people are good. Because they’re people who don’t throw away things by any means (laugh). They use bags and stuff to the end. Before, you know, I had a belt bag [fanny pack kind of thing] that I often used. It’s sitting right at home. Sportswear? Ah, that’s true. Sportswear from when I was in middle school (laugh). But… that, you know, seems like they went somewhere? I didn’t know where they went while I had them on TV. But, I don’t think I’d throw them away. So, whether or not they use them for a long time doesn’t matter, rich people are good. The things I’ve gotten and the things I bought myself are most definitely somewhere at home.
"Recent Happenings" Recent happenings are... that I’ve drunk too much (laugh). And, back then my acquaintance, you know? Gave me pickled cucumbers. I put them in my bag and went to bed leaving them as is (laugh). So… it’s incredibly stinky! Unbelievably stinky. Now, you know, my bag is the worst (laugh). I slept leaving them there like that.. And so, I’m feeling a little down today (laugh). The turn of the year? …What am I doing, you wonder? New Year’s Eve is the countdown concert… and after that I’ll go to the shrine with everyone for the new year’s visit. So, I’ll probably be at home on the 1st (New Year’s Day). When I have a rest like that, maybe I’ll go fishing, I wonder (laugh). So, that means this year I’ll go risk my life fishing! (laugh) Alright, I’ve decided. I shall go fishing (laugh)!

"Things that have been going on for a long time" I think it’s games. Yeah, Lately, I’ve been up all the way until 6 in the morning. I’m playing games, too, but, I can’t really sleep in the first place. Well, I guess even prodigies get distressed, right? Sometimes I think how nice it would be to be an ordinary person (laugh). You drink and sleep while thinking that worries seem like they can be settled quickly and that you’ll probably forget about it. The worries of a prodigy? What is that? (laugh). It means it doesn't end, right? I’ve been very distressed lately. Well, what am I distressed about? I don’t know. Thinking I can’t sleep. I’ve felt like this before. Well… Well, shall I get back to the topic? (laugh). Well? I began to play games? Maybe… It was when I was in kindergarten thereabouts, I think. I found my parents had them. When I was playing in the closet, I came out from there. When I asked what it is, they said it’s a game. And then, I began playing games. From then until now… Yeah, games are what I’ve been doing the longest. Altogether longer than my time in Arashi, sorry to say (laugh). Baseball? Baseball… I was truly properly devoting myself to it for two years. From my 4th year of elementary school to my 6th. It’s like someone’s favorite thing for example? It’s hard to say… There isn’t anything. Hmm, well, I think being rich is a good direction. Basically, because I’m living a life surrounded by radio waves, when something new comes out, I buy it. Outside of that, I might not replace things like computers. Also the new things I have to remember, I don’t really replace. Same goes for cellphones and such. Though I’ll buy games (laugh). Things I’ve gotten from the members? I don’t have anything that I’ve been using now. Because I haven’t really received things that I can use (laugh). I did receive clothes from Jun-kun, though, maybe… it could be that. Things I can seem to use for a long time down the road. I think wearing clothes Matsumoto Jun picked out is absolutely interesting (laugh). I was asked what I wanted for my birthday. I was thinking, What do I want? I wonder… Interesting things, things that don’t make sense; it’s interesting because you’d give them to people. When you receive them, they really aren’t a waste of time at all (laugh). You’d think “Why, they’re meaningless events!” So I think of what would be good..Then what I ended up with was Jun-kun’s clothes (laugh). Well, at that time we were all talking about Jun-kun’s clothes. Wondering things like how much Jun-kun’s clothes cost and where they’re sold. Nor will I really have that style, right? (laugh). So I think I’d like to get them! …But they won’t come even now? My birthday’s in June. Half a year. But well, Jun-kun is busy. I’ll be waiting patiently (laugh).
"Recent Happenings" The end of the year? I’ll be in Tokyo Dome for the end of the year. A hundred to one. And… what would I be doing after that? I’d be playing games, right? (laugh). But, you get lonely with the end of the year, right? The end of the year and New Year’s are lonely, right, because it’s the quietest time for Tokyo. Well, I like it in turn. But you know, it was fun. 2007 was a really pleasant year. We did a lot of concerts… Leader had slipped saying how he wanted to go to an onsen at the FNS Song Festival (laugh). But hey, we’ve become adults, I think. Yeah… you know. We’ve become less enjoyable adults. I’ve also finally taken on some rotundity. Well, it’s unfortunate (laugh). Because this year is the 9th year of Arashi’s activities. Well, as Leader says, it looks like the 10th year will naturally be exciting. Though we’ve said it like we’ve already experienced the 10th year already (laugh). Maybe, he’s probably already experiencing it. That feeling that the nature of the 10th year, the 10th anniversary, is exciting, right? Maybe this time is his second time, I wonder. But because it’s my first time, I don’t know what will happen. I really think I’d like to steadily go through the 9th year.

"Things you’ve been using for a long time" Hm… What is that, right? Rich people are… relatively bad, aren’t they, I wonder? Being slightly set aside. On and on (laugh). They say often that things aren’t thrown out, right? I can go on and on. So, I’m the type that feels bad (laugh). Like, I don’t really like to put a lot of things in my room. Above all, things that are pretty long? But you know, things I’ve fairly gotten from people I take properly. So there are various things, but… it’s different to say they’re things I’ve been using for a long time? If it’s something I’ve gotten from the other members… I got a cushion. I got it from Sho-chan. I don’t really know when that was, though (laugh). It was a cushion bearing the Adidas symbol. Blue. I have that on the sofa.
But, I’ve been finding really awesome things lately. Things I’ll use for many years. Like I recently bought a coffee, well, what they call a coffee maker that I wanted no matter what that some guy left in the filming studio. I drink from it every day at home. When I drank the coffee one time before in the studio, I thought stuff like, “This doesn’t taste like the one at home…” (laugh), and that it has the store-bought taste. I searched for it and then bought it thinking “This is okay, isn’t it!?” I can probably use this for a long time! I relatively pinpoint whenever I go shopping. I haven’t been window shopping. There are people who go shopping and want the one that’s at that place. With that kind of meaning,I have a lot of clothes that I’ve been using for several years. Things like leather jackets… I’m always using those kinds of things. Besides, I still have things I bought when I just joined Arashi. Though the number of times I’ve worn them on stage is diminishing (laugh). Also… watches. …Though I haven’t been wearing them lately (laugh). Ah! That is the longest thing. My mom has a Vitton wallet that she bought on her honeymoon. And, I got it from her when I was a high schooler. And, I was always using it. Two times I dropped it and two times it came back…. It’s a miracle wallet (laugh). I’m not using it now, but that’s because I’m using it as the second generation. I think it’s probably in my house. That is the longest thing.
Following that, every year I go to the amusement park to go on the thrill rides (laugh). I go once a year. Though I haven’t really told people… I go every year. I like it. The thrill rides (laugh). After all, I know a couple of other guys who really like thrill rides and so the three of us go every year. We’re quietly lined up (laugh). We’re lined up waiting for 3 hours and thinking, “This is chancy… it’ll be embarrassing if this leaks out.” Because I’ve already been going three times, it means that three years are continuing. I kind of wanted to keep this a secret, though (laugh). So, sorry, but, I’ve already been riding that newest one! Previously. I went this year so soon after it was finished. I set off after lunch and went to just go on that one ride (laugh).
"Recent Happenings" My stage performance (butai) ended safely. It feels like that it’s been settled for the time being. And, next time, I plan to go golfing as it’s been a while. After that plan, I’ll be playing soccer games with my friends and such… Ah! And lately, I’ve been thinking of having my wisdom teeth pulled. It hurts sooo much now. They’re growing in directly horizontal. So, the base of my chin hurts. Around the nerve ending? So, I plan to get them pulled shortly.Those are the recent happenings (laugh).My plans for new year’s? Nothing in particular, I don’t think. The usual countdown concert and new year’s visit to the shrine. So, after that, for the time being I plan to go home to grandma’s!
