The average American adult driver puts 12,000 miles on their primary vehicle each year, or 1000 miles a month. I just reached 12,000 miles on my Kia yesterday and it took me 31 months to do so. This is including trips to Seattle, Los Vegas, and John Day. Apparently my driving average is about 400 miles a month, or under 5000 miles a year. Makes me wonder about the mileage of those at the other end of a spectrum.
Just saw my doctor this morning. She was getting ready to put me on blood pressure medication but as of today it has dropped down to a more normal level. I have also gained 6 pounds. She isn't happy with the association.
