I can't wait to be unpacked and settled so I can start cooking for real. This apartment is soo much nicer but I'm still recuperating from last weekend in the old apartment so haven't had the energy to figure out the best way to unpack. I have lots of closets but would probably like to have lots of shelves more. Also can't wait to get my breakfast bar from my mom's house since there's a perfect place for it and it will give me lots more counter space (I have too many kitchen appliances that I use). My appetite is super messed up because I'm hungry all the time but nothing sounds good thanks to the prednisone. Although, thanks to the prednisone I can breathe well and without intense pain and my joints don't hurt much which is nice.
It seems that starting the day before someone in my family or that I'm close to dies my dreams always get super more gruesome. It started Saturday night and hasn't stopped yet (my uncle died saturday night but his wonderful wife didn't tell anyone in the family until sunday night). I'm going to try to see if I can get good sleep tonight so I can actually feel awake and less useless for work tomorrow.
I have been working on a grocery list slowly of stuff I need from wegmans, turns out there are a lot of things the stores around here don't have that I would like to have. My research so far shows there is no easy way to get to a large grocery store from my apartment so that will be interesting to figure out. I also have to go to the CVS on park ave because the pharmacists there are awesome so I don't want to transfer my prescriptions elsewhere but I'm pretty sure that's not much more than 2 miles away so I can walk there.
I really need to find winter shoes (good grip) that are also good for walking long distances. I walk way too much to have uncomfortable boots or shoes with bad grip.
Here are my ridiculous random thoughts for the moment. I wish amazon had the grocery stuff I want at more reasonable prices.
