I didn't think

This post was going to be about how I never thought I'd enjoy working/studying at a coffee shop, but I realized I haven't posted anything of substance for a long time.

Well, the whole reason I was going to talk about the coffee shop is because I'm finally getting ready to head back to Boston. I'm in the midst of getting all the paperwork done, trying to push out one last paper before I leave Cashville and just trying to get caught up on all the medical jargon and knowledge I've long forgotten.

It seems odd to think that its already been 2 years since I left -- its long enough to miss the city but too short to feel like I've really been away that long. Moreover, I'm finally leaving research. Its been close to 7 years since I started this crazy path and now that it's finally ending, I can hardly remember my life before it. Trying to think back on all the things I've gone through, all the amazing people I've met since, all the things that have happened in my friends' lives... just mind boggling. It really was a lifetime ago. But the end is coming and I'll be thrown back into the hectic world of the hospital, trying to figure which way is up.

Barring any unforeseen problems, I'll be back terrorizing Bean Town by the first week of May. I'll miss Nashville but Boston is where I call "home" now. I can't even imagine what it'll be like come time for the Match.

Crazy.
