On Vox: 2008 - A year for fighters

I've just caught the tail end reports from AOU Amusement Expo highlighting upcoming games for this year.  Of interest are SFIV, Samurai Showdown Shin and KOFXII.  The one that really caught my attention was BlazBlue, hightlighted in this article:

Developed by the makers of Guilty Gear (Arc System Works), BlazBlue is a universe continuation of GGXX set 10 years after.  As the article says, the sprites and background look incredible.  Clips can be linked off the Shoryuken page:

While only 4 characters are shown, comparisons to GGXX characters have already been made -- Shoryuken forum members lovingly refer to Sol2, Ky the Return, Post Op Bridget and Professor Potemkin.  Iron Tager, the red Popo X Blanka character is already known to have a "Tager Buster" move.  I know who I'm going to be learning.  :D
