I did the mail-order flowers this year. I've heard good things about Michigan Bulb. We will see how they do. The twins check their garden every evening. When making the flower bed Amelia was singing "You are my sunshine" and patting the dirt around the tiny blooms saying "good night baby flowers". :-)

Yesterday the garbage truck was stuck in the mud down the street. It took two garbage trucks 3-4 hours to get it out. The whole neighborhood was out watching & taking pictures. I was no exception.

I finally got the pictures cut for the bedroom. We got our furniture from Ikea about a month ago and Scott painted the room this lovely green color. I love it!

What a difference adding a little color with shutters can do to a drab house. Throw in some silk flowers and a ceramic dog holding a welcome sign and I’ve got myself one cute home. Thanks Scott! You're the bestest!

In December 2001 I threw away fireplace ashes & set 1/2 our garage on fire. We were renting at the time. Our landlord’s (who is a manipulative alcoholic) insurance fixed it.
