Fandom: Doctor Who
Characters: Sara Jane Smith, 4th Doctor.
Word count: 183
Prompt: Character: Naked +3
Total points: 3
"Doctor!" Sara's scream seemed to bounce off every single known (and unknown) wall of the Tardis, she remained in the doorway mouth gaping and eyes wide until she sensed his presence behind her. She turns to turn him as he was grinning ever so foolishly at her, or just in general.
"You called?"
"Doctor what is in the world is that?" The Doctor repositioned himself to see past her.
"It's a room, rather messy if I do say so myself! Sara as an investigator I'd think you know what a room was without feeling the need to scream for assistance!" She shoot him a look before speaking again.
"I'm talking about that!" He followed her finger to the further wall.
"It's a portrait. Again pretty obvious my dear."
"Why do you have a naked picture of someone?!"
"Of someone? Of someone!? Don't you mean of me!?" She turns back to the portrait, staring, shaking her head, than starts to smile.
"Aw regeneration. Well I do hope your latest one helped you um out a little."
"Not funny Sara Jane not funny at all!"
Title: Stubborn and Crazy VS. Selfish and Rude
Fandom: Doctor Who
Characters: Ian Chesterton, Susan Foreman, 1st Doctor.
Word count:189
Prompt: Obvious +1
Total points: 4
"Well it's obvious that we're lost Doctor just admit it!"
"I will not." Ian screams with frustration before pacing the room.
"No matter what anyone says I still stand by the fact you're a stubborn and let us not forget crazy old man!"
"And you you you are selfish and rude!" The pacing stops at the same time the Doctor looked up, eyes blazed in newly seen fury.
"Enough grandfather! Please stop Mr. Chesterton. I am sure grandfather has everything under control." Ian turns to his former student standing in the doorway.
"Fine. I'll be in my room let me know when were not longer lost."
"But we're not lost, we're not!" The Doctor shouts after Ian, before returning to the controls. Susan walks over, places a gentle hand on his shoulder.
"So where exactly are we grandfather?"
"I have no idea." Her eyes grow wide.
"But you said we weren't lost?! Oh grandfather this is horrible!"
"Calm yourself child, I do say you have been spending far too much time with the humans and their irrational and prone to unnecessary outbursts." She mutters an apology that went unnoticed.
Title: Little Piece Of Goodbye
Fandom: Doctor Who
Characters: 5th Doctor, Perri Brown, meantion of Adric
Word count: 164
Prompt: Time +3 Nervous +2 Touch +1
Total points: 10
He should have been accustom to death; no not death, it was much deeper than that, by now, but he wasn't. In silence he'd shake, biting his tongue from calling out for someone to hold his hand, a gentle and final touch for a life about to change. Regeneration is one of greatest abilities a Time Lord has, able to live over a thousand years, time and age are nearly meaningless. It's when he's talking to friends, listening to a joke, all those little moments in life he hates not having a true ending. Growing old with someone, perhaps even a family. Dying at 100 is a laughable concept to most on Galifrey, never to him.
As he feels the poison sweep through his body, feeling the regeneration process starting, Perri hurdled alone and scared unable to do anythin. This time he doesn't hide the anguish as he screams out for that touch, that little piece of goodbye before the next life appears.
"Adric!"
Title: Can't Fall In Love
Fandom: Doctor Who
Characters: 8th Doctor (TV movie universe only)
Word count: 168
Prompt: Lonely +3 Remember +1
Total points: 14
As he sat down book in hand, he looks towards the sealed door. He could have tried to persue her to follow him, tell her how fun it could be, the adventures together they'd have. Sights of a thousand worlds, history long lost and history still unmade. He could have shown her everything. He did miss the company, someone to talk to it and to talk to him. Books were great, but not a connection for a lonely soul.
He stands a few minutes later, not having turned any pages, returning to the control console, and for a moment he almost returns to there last place together. She might have changed her mind and she's waiting; he tries to convince himself as in excuse to push in the commands. It was that moment he knew he couldn't the pounding of his hearts, the sweat collecting, all the signs of love. No, a Time Lord can't fall in love, be in love. He sighs turning again to the chair.
Title: The Feeling Remained
Fandom: Doctor Who
Characters: Ninth Doctor (mention of Mickey Smith, Rose Tyler)
Word count: 105
Prompt: Character: Jealous
Total points: 17
Though he hated to admit it (not like he actually would) but the fact remained stirring through out him that he was jealous of Mickey. Of all the people in the universe he was jealous of Mickey Smith! It was actually quite laughable if he thought about it for awhile. Not because he was smarter, no defaintaly not. Was Mickey better looking? He wasn't sure beauty often is in the eye of the beholder so really who knows. It was because of Rose. He had Rose, sweet, charming and brave Rose. Though the wanting was wrong, still the feeling remained just as the jealousy did.
Title: Mr. Anonymous
Fandom: Doctor Who
Characters: 2nd Doctor
Word count: 120
Prompt: Anonymous +3
Total points: 20
Mr. Anonymous. There were times he wished that was his name. Hidden in the shadows. Not seeked after, no need to save the world, again and again and again. He wished he could be like other Time Lords at times and observe the true principles of Galifrey. The point remained walking into a room announcing you are The Doctor people flock to you, assume you are some sort of savior. Like it or not. With a name such as Anonymous people in that room would assume just as easily you were that, and quickly turn away.
It was in his companions' eyes that he would rekindle the love of the worlds, his self declared duty and proudly called himself Doctor.
