"Miss Tyler?" On hearing those two words Rose groans and quickly ducks behind her school book so hide the red in her cheeks.
"No it's Mrs. Tyler thank you very much! And just what may I help you with today?" Callers to the house for delivers never stood a chance with Jackie Tyler, strong and confidant as she was one simple wrongly used title nearly broke her. In the past Rose questioned her mother on the harsh reactions to an accidental error. Why so harsh? Couldn't she understand it wasn't personal? The thing that always bothered Rose the most was the fact she no longer wore her ring but played like it was there.
"Mum?" She waits until is closed her mother starting open a brown sachal, eyes glimmering.
"Oh sweet heart! Come lets see what what Aunt Rita sent us!"
"I think daddy would want you to be happy. If your worried about me being upset or jealous I won't be a swear." Jackie looks up surprised an expression on her lips Rose was unsure how to take.
"I am happy Rose. Why would you think I am not?"
"You never remarried and in fact you have barely even dated anyone, I just assumed, you know you were lonely."
"I loved your father, in fact I love your father and my heart is bound to his. That is all I need. Oh and of course you. Sweet heart don't worry about me, ok?"
