Life would be much happier if we could spend some/more time like this.
I applied for a really cool position as Sociological Research Assistant at UMass Boston yesterday. I am really hoping I can at least get an interview. What it did do at the very least was have me take a look at the applied sociology masters program. It looks to have everything I want in a program with a great research department and many areas of concentration. I requested more information so we'll see if I can go through it without having an anxiety attack.3
I'm going to NY tomorrow to pick my brother up from CIA (he's a chef not a secret agent). His girlfriend broke up with him on Sunday and he's been without a car because some jackass tried to take off his front end in the parking lot. I have very vivid horrid memories of being stuck without a car and without the ex so off I go for a road trip and to try the save the day.
