I’m going for 80 to 90% raw minimum, since I started until this morning I have not had any panic attacks, shut downs, or real depression, it is amazing really how well this seems to be working, I can’t claim that I’ve been doing perfect or anything but trust me this is a fuck load better then I have been doing and after last night I think the food is almost certainly the cause…
Since I started I have been eating only raw foods except for salad dressing so I’m actually hitting about 97% raw but last night I figured hey why not eat some Chinese food, so I did, I had 1 veggie bun and half an order of general tso’s… this morning I woke up @ 9am already in a panic attack, thinking cyclically, and “shut down”, (I don’t really know what this should be called…) again
ahappyfly helped me out by holding me and bringing me the liquid kava kava, but I still have not been able to get back to sleep… so I think it will be awhile before I have a whole cooked meal again…
I still have yet to find a counselor to work with and from the research that I have been doing on PTSD, it seems at least, that group therapy is more important then 1 on 1 anyway, there’s only one problem with that there is no group therapy for PTSD related to the war @ home, at least not in atlanta… I’m thinking that some kind of online group is likely the closest that most of us in the us could get; so those of you more technically well versed then I is there a way to make a chat that is not traceable? I mean I know that everything could easily be recorded and that there is no way for anyone to know if some of the people they are talking to are cops or not but theoretically anyway if people chose names that they had never used before and there was no way to access the IP addies of anyone involved it could be a relatively safe space for people to share their experiences… anybody have any hints on how to make a safer chat?
